Everything about The Addison was amazing! Our room was gorgeous, the proprietor and staff were gracious and the site, top to bottom, is the very best Fernandina has to offer. Oh and the food! So, so good.

We totally love The Addison on Amelia! We've stayed in different rooms with each visit but #3 might be my favorite so far--especially now that the weather has turned a little chilly (for Floridians, anyway). Room 3, in the main house, has a cozy gas fireplace that lights and turns off with the touch of a button and a large,...

Thank you for staying with us! The fireplaces in the historic building guest rooms are a favorite feature especially during our "cold" Florida winters.

Our third year returning to the Addison House. Bob, Shannon and Lee run a fabulous first class B&B. The rooms are welcoming and spotless. Every morning they prepare a delicious breakfast- the oatmeal pancakes, quiche are always a favorite. The happy hour is delightful. The Thanksgiving dinner is a must. Exceptional five star B&B. See you next year.

The Addison is a great local B and B. Bob and his family have done a tremendous job with the Addison. We absolutely love this place. We took advantage of the thanksgiving dinner package which included drinks, full dinner prepared by the Addison Team and a riverboat tour during the day. The dinner was delicious and plenty of seconds being...

Our second visit to the Addison on amelia Island. Both visits were on Thanksgiving week. What a great place that seems to have return visits by many couples. The rooms are very cozy. The breakfasts are to die for. French toast hand made by Shannon and Bob. Hot coffee waiting as you rise, with Bob's great cook jar always full. The...

We stayed last Christmas at the Ritz in Atlanta. We were at the Waldorf Astoria this summer. The Addison was so much better. The rooms and baths were more elegant, larger and more luxurious. The common areas were cozy and relaxing. The breakfast were the best I've ever had - pumpkin French toast, an amazing quiche, hash brown muffins. The...

I've lost count of how many times we've visited Bob, Shannon, and Lee at the Addison on Amelia, but it has definitely become an annual trip for us. The rooms are spacious and gorgeous, the inn is immaculate, the breakfasts are fresh, delicious, and filling, and the inn keepers know how to treat their guests. Complimentary beach towels, chairs, and...

We usually stay in hotels, but the hotels on Amelia Island seemed to be enclaves unto themselves. The Addison is walking distance (1 to 5 blocks) from great restaurants, shopping, the landmark courthouse in the center of Fernandina Beach. The B&B is an historic building that has been carefully updated with all the amenities. They key to any inn is...

The Addison is such a welcoming place. The innkeepers Bob and Shannon go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. The location is just perfect, very close walk to the charming downtown area, a number of restaurants and the waterfront - all are very close. I was in room 10, it was comfortable and spacious, had a nice...
