My husband and I just returned from our second wonderful stay at the Addison for our sixth wedding anniversary. We stayed in room 3 and we loved everything about it! Bob and Shannon were very accommodating to our gluten free diets and all the breakfasts were very tasty. The organic fair trade coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice were pure... More

It had been two years since my mother and I celebrated her 80th birthday at the Addison with a memorable stay, and not a thing had changed when we arrived for this year's visit. Bob and Shannon were hospitable, helpful hosts, and the staff made us feel like part of the family. My sister joined my mother and I for... More

As a former resident of Fernandina Beach and neighbor of The Addison on Amelia Island, I knew the best place to stay on the island and wasn't disappointed! The Inn is gorgeous and the owners are gracious and accommodating. I brought my new beau to visit the island and he was equally impressed with the Inn. We had an ample... More

Ginger, it's so great that you were able to come visit your old home neighborhood! It's one of the best compliments that we can receive to that you slept so well here. We are happy you both enjoyed the food as much as we enjoy creating it. If you return again, we hope to see you at the Addison! More

Our stay at The Addison was wonderful. Bob and Shannon are excellent hosts offering delicious breakfasts and a great happy hour. They have bicycles, beach chairs, everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Its a short walk to restaurants and the marina. It was clean and tastefully appointed. We hope to return again.

The hosts were so accommodating and nice touches abound: cookies, chocolates, DVDs, bikes. The room was comfy and clean with tasteful, modern decor. Enjoying a delicious fresh fruit with Greek yogurt and hot coffee next to a fountain with jazzy music to start the day- heaven! We would definitely stay again if we are nearby.

We wanted to stay in the historic downtown of Fernandina Beach and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. What I loved about this bed and breakfast were a few things: 1) the rooms were spacious and you did not feel like you were on top of your neighbors. 2) the rooms were beautifully appointed and they thought... Beautiful Inn/Home, beautiful location, can't say enough nice things. Stayed three days and had three amazing breakfast each day. Drive to white sand beaches and no problem parking. Three outstanding restaurants within walking distance of the inn, and many more we didn't have time to try.

The Addison on Amelia is in a great location to walk to the restaurants, bars and shops in the quaint downtown. The location also makes for a very easy car ride to beaches, the fort and... More

We loved every minute. Bob, the host is very informative and funny. We had a wonderful time. The breakfasts were amazing and a food lovers dream. The Inn is charming, well cared for, romantic, private, clean, and decorated with elegance. On our beach day, Bob provided towels, Beach chairs, umbrella, and iced drinks.
