Your visit to Amelia Island will not be complete if you do not stay at The Addison at Amelia Island. This cosy and elegantly decorated B&B located in the heart of beautiful historic Amelia Island offers comfort, convenience and good old southern hospitality. My husband and I stayed here over the Easter weekend and had an amaizing time. We thank...

This was our first trip to Amelia Island and our stay at the Addison B&B made it memorable. It was perfectly located in a pretty, peaceful neighborhood just a short walk to the town center and some of the island's best shops and restaurants. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and gracious. Breakfast was a delight with creative...

We needed a great place to have a quaint wedding and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at the Addison. It was convenient to everything; the food, hospitality and cleanliness were excellent. We will definitely go back for our next getaway. My only complaint is that the beds were so comfortable, we almost chose to sleep all...

From the first time we spoke to Susan at The Addison, we knew we had made the right decision to have our elopement there. We had a private ceremony in the courtyerd and the entire staff (family) there made everything so easy for us to really enjoy ourselves. While our friends and family did not join us, the staff of...

The Addison on Amelia Island is a pure delight. I spent 19 nights there in March. (Yes, 19 nights) and I still didn't want to leave. Shannon and Bob Tidball cater to their guest's every desire. The rooms are emmaculate, the breakfasts superb (fresh-squeezed orange juice daily) and Happy Hour, with wine and home-made appetizers is a great way to...

In a recent stay at the Addison, my husband and I enjoyed the kind hospitality of Bob, Shannon and their daughter. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Afternoon happy hour invited guests to share a beverage, information and storytelling! Don't miss it! We stayed in room 3 and found the accommodations both spotless and pleasantly comfortable. Our only regret is...

I am writing this review while relaxing on a covered porch overlooking the courtyard. A cooling breeze is making its way in from the mainland. The fountain is burbling away and a squirrel is making his way up and down the oak trees. If the Addison isn't on your bucket list, your list is wrong. This is our 3rd visit...

Everything about The Addison was top notch. From our greeting by Shannon (owner) when we arrived, to our lovely room, to the happy hour, to the incredible breakfasts, to the location and to the entertainment provided by Bob (owner). We stayed in room 7 which was very large with a huge bathroom including a two person jacuzzi. All amenities were...

We love staying at the Addison. This was our third visit and we stayed five days. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, very nicely appointed and very clean. We enjoy sitting on the porch outside our room; it's a great place to read or just relax. The breakfasts are delicious. Wine, beer and appetizers at Happy Hour are a nice touch...

Good points: impeccably clean, unbelievably good food, great courtyard, excellent location. Bad points: had to park on the road, small room, no refrigerator in room, only 2 chairs outside of our room and when had guests over, did not have seats for them on our balcony (warned by owner not to " borrow" unused chairs outside of another room without...
