Innkeepers Chris and Maria could not have been friendlier. The house is a beautifully preserved antebellum stop on the Underground Railway. Our room was lovely. Breakfasts are carefully prepared gourmet creations; wine and hors d'oeuvres are complimentary each afternoon. Don't miss the Williams House if travels take you to Fernandina Beach!

We stayed at the Williams House over Easter weekend and had an amazing trip. Upon arriving, Chris quickly got us checked in, gave us a summary of amenities and set us up in our room. The home is stunning and property very well maintained and even has 2 electric car chargers available. We stayed in the Island Getaway room in...

My girlfriend and I had a great stay at the Williams House. We loved the location, accommodations, and Chris and Maria were fantastic. Maria shared a very detailed history of the home and it was very interesting. We would highly recommend visiting and would definitely stay there again!

Our stay at the Williams house in Amelia Island was a like reliving life in the past. We were greeted at the door by Chris. Chris was friendly and gracious in explaining everything about Amelia Island. Our room was large and the history of this home is seen everywhere. Chris directed us to town (a short walk) and the beach...

Our room, Island Getaway, was in an outer building and close to the main inn, beautiful decorated with modern amenities. The breakfasts were fabulous as also the afternoon happy hour with food and wine. The inn provides bicycles and...

My husband and I spent two nights (March 25, 26, 2017) at The Amelia Island Williams House. From the moment we walked in the front door to check until we drove away we were overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity, and hospitality extended by the owners, Maria and Chris. Their dedication and commitment to maintaining this beautiful home and preserving the...

Chris and Maria the two owners are true professionals and genuinely good and caring people. You can tell after a short time with them that they will never work a day in their life because they love what they do. Maria has educated herself on the long history of this home that was built in 1856 and the families that...

We stayed two nights at this B&B and we were within easy walking distance to numerous restaurants and shopping. The only time we drove our car after arriving was to go over to the beach. The B&B is very clean and our room The Isle of Santa Maria was a nice size with a large bathroom. It was not located...
