My room on the third floor did have a private balcony (a spacious one at that as myself, my mom and my aunt were all standing on it watching some rain move in and we weren't squeezed in at all) that overlooked Belmar Street, facing the Paramount Fort Lauderdale hotel. If you looked to the right, you'd see Turtle Nest beach. I am not certain about cribs or anything like that, but I did see young ones at the pool so it's worth calling them and looking into.
