I stayed here for 5 nights on a trip to Ft Lauderdale, they hotel is very reasonably priced and in a fairly good location at the top of Sunrise Boulevard. The room was a good size with a comfy bed and I large tv, bedding was clean and shower was nice a big. I was quite happy with the hotel in general. The only fly in the ointment was the three cockroaches i found in and around the wardrobe. I know this isn’t a sign of dirtiness but not a great sight in any hotel room! I would stay again however as the place was otherwise quite good.
We stayed here before and after our carribean cruise. Before the cruise we were welcomed by a lovely lady on the reception, who checked us in and took us to our room. Room was really nice as well with a lovely view of the swimming pool area, very tropical. It took about 15 mins from the airport and cost us $20 in taxi fare. We were about 5 mins walk from a Galleria which had some nice shops including Macy's. There was a supermarket across the road where we good some food supplies from which was really handy. The beach was also lovely and only another 10 minute walk after the supermarket. On the return visit we stayed in a different room which was again to the same high standard as the first one. Billy was great on reception and very helpful and courteous. Highly recommend this place to stay. We were about 15 mins away from Everglades port where our cruise started, again costing around $20 in taxi fare. Billy kindly organised the taxi for us.
Arrived exhausted after travelling for 16 hours and persuading shuttle service that this hotel existed. It is small cute and very friendly. We had a lovely reception(although we could hardly remember our own names) and really liked the spacious room and kitchenette. We loved the bed so much that we slept on through breakfast. When we did arise we sat comfortably round the pool. And even swam a bit. Coffee tea etc are free all day but we were enjoying making our own having obtained supplies from a very local shop. They did not sell filter papers so they just gave us some of their own! We ambled off in the evening to choose a restaurant from the many close by. The following day we were going on a cruise but my husband was reluctant to leave. We had both found the experience of staying here totally relaxing. Breakfast was very good and as we were checking out the stapler for our luggage tags was produced before we asked - they are obviously used to cruisers. The same member of staff who had been making the breakfasts then arranged for us to share a car service with another couple to the ship. All the staff were amazing helpful and friendly. The hotel is absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Should we return I would only consider this hotel and would stay for longer.
From the moment you walk in you get a welcome feeling in a cozy lobby and front desk personnel that is very friendly and helpful. We had a room on the second floor and there is no elevator so that can be tricky. The room itself is very bright and large. It gives you a beach cabin feeling. There is a fully equipped kitchen (with fridge), a small table and a sofa so ideal for longer stays. A good airco that doesn't make too much noise and lots of natural light (with shades). The bathroom is little bit on the small side compared with the rest of the room but very well equipped with an entirely tiled shower that had no lime scale on the appliances. Breakfast is not included in the rate and you can still order it in the morning. It is a mall buffet that you can have either inside the lobby or outside in a shaded patio. The pool is well maintained as well as the surrounding seating area and gardens. The only negative item that I found during our stay is that the chairs outside our room were not clean, other than that the staff is doing a great job to keep the rooms and the grounds clean and nice. For sure a hotel that I would come back to!
First of all I must say that my husband and I enjoyed our stay there from start to finish ! Billy who checked us in was absolutely fantastic! The room was beautiful and spotless! The entire staff could not have been more accommodating to help out with anything that we needed ! I would recommend this place 100 0/0 !
