The Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale garners acclaim for its exceptional service and modern elegance. While most guests rave about the luxurious amenities, including the pools and gym, and commend the hotel's spotless condition, a handful mention occasional service hiccups, particularly at the pool. The hotel's prime location is a highlight for its tranquility and easy beach access. Despite some delays in room readiness, the comfortable rooms with breathtaking views are a hit. However, opinions on value for money are divided among travelers.

When you're fortunate to stay at a Four Seasons hotel, you know what you can expect and to relax, knowing you'll be taken care of. This particular hotel had to be one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was simply exquisite. I like all types of hotel decor generally; something way over the top (the Metropole in Venice) but also the very spare and elegantly appointed rooms like at this Four Seasons. Clean lines and light woods abound.

First and foremost, I could live in the shower. Just the most incredible shower ever. (Be careful, though; wet marble can be slippery!). There is a lovely outside table to watch the sun come up or gaze out at the buzzing neighborhood. The glass wall of the patio can be disconcerting but a nice touch. The resort fee includes chairs, towels, and umbrella on the wonderful Fort Lauderdale Beach. The pool was wonderful as well.

The staff was uniformly gracious and welcoming. It was always a treat to be welcomed back. Pricey? Absolutely, but worth every nickel.

The hotel is impeccably designed with all of the latest updates in technology and comfort. Stayed 4 nights and as with all Four Season Hotels felt welcomed and relaxed. I especially enjoyed using the steam room and sauna at the end of each pool day. I loved that they carried the Le Labo soap and lotion in the bathrooms in large sized dispensers so you didn't have to deal with the small disposable samples that always need to be replaced.

We enjoyed the most decadent meal at Evelyn's and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the Chef at the end of the meal.

Special mention to Karl at the beach who always greeted us with a smile and set us up for the day with plenty of water and great sun beds!

New four seasons, and many boxes ticked, making this a very good hotel but not a very good four seasons. Service is good not great, no "free" pool treats that you'll find in other nearby properties like palm beach, orlando, miami or Bel Harbor. Service is objectively very good, but falls short of being good for the brand. Hotel really over promises (or maybe it just strangely alludes to but doesn't really commit to) kids facilities. I mean their "kids club" from what I can tell after two days is a box with broken pool toys in it. Granted not all four seasons have them but this one seems to tell you it both does and does not have one at the same time. Pool area is nice but really small given the size of the property. "Main Pool" is 3ft deep maybe 20ft wide by 40ft long. Pool cannot comfortably accomodate more than 20 people max. The "quiet" adult pool is situated directly adjacent to the main pool, so hardly the fortress of solitude if you are looking for one, also similar sized and combined the pools seem woefully insufficient for the size of the property. No hot tubs and on cooler days very little direct sun exposure as the whole pool area is shielded from the west by the building itself and faces east. Room service is awful. First time in years I sent something back when I was served a Ramen with a broth that was completely unseasoned, like actual dishwater. Expected pricey items but 50 bucks for a flank steak is 1) cheeky and 2) really that's the best you got. Also this is a hotel no pasta dish? No club sandwich? No rice dish? You got a choice of 1 "soup", 3 entrees and 2 sandwiches. It's basically the same menu you got on the flight on the way over here, and similar quality for the same price as the air ticket. Main dining spot is good no complaints solid med fare with a modern twist. Rooms are good, very well sized for the market and decently appointed. Coffee shop down stairs has excellent quality pastries and good coffee, solid no complaints.

Bottom line, for 500 bucks or less per night, in the summer when the hotel is quiet it's a great value. In the winter you will freeze with pool orientation and crowds will kill your pool experience. If you don't care for a pool and just doing some business or passing through, all good just stick with doordash / uber eats and avoid room service.

We stayed at the property for our anniversary. There was nothing great to say about our visit. Our reservation could not be located at check in even after I showed the confirming email. We were made to feel like we did not have a reservation.

The driveway to bring up the car to the entry area is way to sharp and narrow. I was told my EV car would be charged. It never was.

We went to the pool area. We could not get a seat. Plenty of towels left on chairs without people around then were told about their 1 hour hold policy. Totally unacceptable.

We were staying for our anniversary and told something would be sent to our room. All we received was the bill and it was incorrect.

We had two balconies but not one long lounge chair to sit on the balcony.

Simply put, an expensive disappointment.

This was our first experience staying at a Four Seasons property and was worth every penny.

The service at this hotel is impeccable and what sets it apart. From the front desk to the doorman, the restaurant staff, and pool staff, everyone on this property goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and completely relaxed.

Throughout the stay the hotel staff surprised the kids with little treats and surprises, like boats with chocolates to coloring books and crayons or toys at the pool. This hotel means it when they say they are family friendly.

The design of the hotel is very warm and inviting and our suite was spacious and came with the benefit of two separate balconies. Definitely worth the upgrade.

The pools, two of them, one for adults and one for families are the best way to escape the heat and if you get bored the beach and beach staff right below are more than happy to set up beach chairs and umbrellas for a change of scenery.

Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our stay at the Four Seasons. Great job and keep up the great work everyone. We’ll see you again next winter!

I love staying at Four Seasons properties and was excited to see that the new property in Fort Lauderdale had opened recently. The property itself was nice, with a relatively small footprint. Rooms were comfortable, bright and airy. The reasons for the four star review is that the service was not on par with the Four Seasons brand, from the front desk to the valet to the restaurant it didn’t have that normal over-the-top Four Seasons feel. Additionally, the food at the one restaurant on the property was very sub par, to the point that I didn’t want to finish my lunch, and we then went elsewhere for dinner. If you are looking for a true Four Seasons experience, the property in Surfside, while more expensive, will provide you with a substantially better stay.

This was my first time staying at a four seasons, and I have to say I was not impressed. To start with, the hotel lobby is awkward and small. I’m not sure who designed this place, but there is a lot to be desired. Hard for the drivers to get in and out of, no lobby bar/restaurant, etc. We got there and needed more hangars, so I called down to request some. Three calls and three hours later I finally got some. Service at the pool is lacking as well. The initial towel setup is great, but good luck getting a drink or your bill in a timely fashion after that. Plus, the main pool is for kids, and is directly next to the “quiet” pool. You could barely hear yourself think from all the screaming kids even over at the adult quiet side. Moreover, there was a water pump in the ground that constantly made a screeching sound for most of the day. Not enjoyable to say the least. The restaurant is good with good service, and good ambiance. Very quiet though. L not lively at all. The other problem is there isn’t a lobby bar really or a place to grab breakfast. The lobby “bar” is like this awkwardly placed table with pastries, and some drinks. It looks like a serve yourself, but apparently isn’t. The lobby is a huge fail in my opinion. Not welcoming or enjoyable at all. When we checked out we gave them our luggage to to hold onto while we hung out by the pool until we had to leave. When it was time to go we tried getting our luggage from them, and it took at least 15 mins for them to get our luggage. They had one luggage person at the time. Overall, the rooms are nice. The only issue we had with that was Friday morning we woke up to construction/sawing to the floor directly above us. I would say there is a lot to be desired here. Service is poor, no liveliness at all to speak of. Like zero. If you’re looking not to interact with anyone and for a very quiet place (minus the screaming kids at the pool) this is it. Personally, I would not stay here again. I stayed at the ritz directly after this stay down the street, and received much better service. The building is a little older, but it’s still nice, and there is life in this hotel.

The entire staff and crew at Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale far exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests. The rooms were huge and very spacious. Bathrooms are to die for with huge soaker tubs, rain shower and very clean and plush linens and towels. House keeping did a fantastic job in maintaining the rooms throughput our stay. Very satisfied!

We stayed at The Four Seasons Ft. Lauderdale for just one night and I wish we could have stayed longer! From the moment we stepped out of our car at valet to check-in until the moment we hopped back in our car to head home our stay was PERFECT! We stayed in an ocean view room-the size of the room was spacious and allowed us to move about easily. The pool service was top notch and lunch by the pool was absolutely delicious! The front desk staff was over the top accommodating to all of our questions and requests. All staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and always smiling. Just an absolute top notch experience!

Stunning hotel which lives up to the gorgeous pictures on their site (unlike Four Seasons in Palm Beach). Ocean view room was one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever stayed in. Gorgeous bathroom with beautiful Le Labo toiletries. Two pools, attentive service, right in front of the ocean. Food in the restaurant was delicious - Middle East themed and cocktails were spot on. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

The hotel rooms are partial ocean view as the residences get the full ocean view. But we still had a lot of ocean in front of us!

So glad we got to stay here!
