I have occupied this establishment many times over many years. I promise that you will never find a better hotel in Fort Lauderdale. The manager Adrian is an absolute dream. He is kind, professional and absolutely outstanding at his job! Thank you Adrian for always making my stay 150%. I adore Snow and King at the upstairs Sky bar and the beloved Sarah at the downstairs restaurant. These are the most beautiful humans and this is by far the best hotel on the beach. Gorgeous rooms and views! Don’t hesitate, book now! See you all in two weeks to celebrate my birthday once again! Best, Brianne Beatrice
we were so happy with the beautiful room, helpful staff, wonderful front desk staff and the delicious restaurant. Great location - we highly recommend the Atlantic right on Fort Lauderdale Beach close to everything.
Money trap For the rich and stupid. Stayed 5 nights. Nice room prices are a joke so is valet and food. Spend your money elsewhere 1 * Best Western hotel more like what we got Do your own research save money
Enjoyed my stay celebrating my Birthday. Had a nice, quiet, relaxing time in my oceanfront 1br suite. I travel to Florida 2-3 times a year and enjoy staying at this hotel. Breakfast was excellent at the restaurant. I stay here at the Atlantic when I come to Fort Lauderdale because of the oceanfront views. I was happy they upgraded the balcony furniture because I spend most of my time sitting on the balcony. I also appreciate putting me in my favorite room.
This was ridiculous. Paid over $700 for the reservation (2 days) to learn upon arrival that I am not going to get checked in, because they are running some kind of computer audit... Why do I care about their computers??? The front desk lady was confrontational, far from 4.5 stars hotel would treat guests, more like a crack house at the Motel 6 type of approach. She was rude saying - "no you can't check in until I am done, period". If you are arriving at night, prepare to feel like you are a moron who booked this hotel... The room was dirty and nasty. The entire hotel is old and desperately needs renovations. Stay away...
Rooms were filthy, disgusting. I paid way too much to stay there for a week. The ocean view was great, but I was disgusted to touch anything in the suite because of how dirty everything was. See the pictures and you can decide for yourself. Will never stay here again.
Hands down my favorite place I’ve stayed. Room was amazing. View couldn’t be better. Food was so good! To top it off the staff was the best. Very fun. Made us all feel at home. From the bartenders to everyone working the pool area. Heck even a local who sat at the bar area became a friend.
I always book hotels on the beach when I'm visiting back home to South Florida. And this hotel has exceeded ALL my expectations!! I will only come back to this hotel whenever I come back and visit. The best hotel on the beach by far!
The details have not been overlooked. This is probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The down pillows are perfect. The towels and kleenex are even soft. Lavazza coffee pods and incredible views make this a great place to stay. That said, there is no room service food to order, so door dash or the restaurant below are your food options.
We planned on staying at The Atlantic the entire month of August. However, from day one, our dream vacation turned nightmare! We booked an Oceanview King Suite, but upon arrival we found that the hotel manager had downgraded us to a Oceanview Studio!!! Our confirmation was provided in writing via the manager’s email. Our reason for confirming our reservation, was because 2 days before we were to fly to Florida, we received notice that our reservation was cancelled! However, we never cancelled it. So, after learning our room had been downgraded without our approval, we insisted on our original reservation… the manager told us that WE were mistaken (although we showed her, her own confirmation email). She told us that if we wanted the Oceanview Suite, we needed to pay $200 more per night! After arguing our case, she didn’t honor our original price. We reluctantly accepted the Oceanview Studio. It now gets worse: While waiting for our room, we sat on the hotel’s public balcony, beneath a large sun umbrella. After about 10 minutes, a gentle breeze suddenly snapped the umbrella striking my wife in the head; she fell backwards and injured her neck. We immediately went to the front desk to get help. The desk clerk gave my wife an ice pack and said they would file a report, and they’d arrange for her to see a doctor… that didn’t happen! They gave my wife a couple of Tylenol and that was it. We were later told that they would not authorize any medical treatment! Unbelievable! However, I saw that the broken umbrella was removed from the balcony… I guess to coverup the incident. So, we get to our downgraded room… to our shock, it was downgraded in more than cost. The bathroom was FILTHY! Used soap in the shower stall with pubic hair on it. The bathroom sink had not been cleaned and the bedroom furniture was clearly dirty! We contacted the front desk, and expressed our outrage of our room’s condition. Within 15 minutes the house services sent 2 women to “clean” our room. At this point, on day one in this pricy, so-called luxury hotel & spa, we’d seen enough and began searching for accommodations at a different hotel. It took 3 days to find a place, and we exited the Atlantic. I tried to express our horrible experience in the fewest words possible. We have travelled from Alaska to Buenas Aires, Argentina, and have stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels, and have NEVER suffered such a horrible experienced as we did with the Atlantic Hotel & Spa! Is half star was available to rate this hotel, they would not even earn that. In the strongest terms possible, anyone planning a trip to Fort Lauderdale should put a black mark across this place and move on.…
