This was our first time at this hotel (and to Fort Lauderdale for that matter). We enjoyed it immensely. The front desk were friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to help with any questions or requests we had. The rooms and hotel were clean and well kept. Any minor problem that arose was taken care of immediately.... More

This is the nicest hotel/resort I have ever stayed at. The staff seemed to always be there when you needed them and they were helpful and had big smiles in their faces. I also ordered room service and the staff sets up the plate, table and silverware. You don't have to do a thing but sit and eat. And there... More

My wife and I spent a night at the Ritz-Carlton Ft. Lauderdale recently and ate dinner in the Burlock Coast restaurant, in the hotel's lobby. The hotel is located on the beach road and our generously-sized ocean-facing room had an excellent view, as well as a large balcony. Very nice bathroom, too. The hotel's lobby is a bit curious; one... More

Simply an outstanding experience. Great accommodations and staff. Every individual that works there goes above and beyond requirements. Certainly not an inexpensive hotel, but you definitely get what you pay for.

It's a ritz on the beach and you will get everything you would expect. Great ocean front rooms with lovely balconies. The pool area is probably the best in the area. If you don't want to compromise at all, stay here but be prepared to drop the cash to do it. A little research could lead you to one more... More

Typical Ritz with the perfect bed and room comforts. Great everything! Very comfortable. The view on either side is beautiful. Beach side is just that, a perfect view of the Atlantic. Backside is a view of the Inter-coastal water-way and housing right on the canals. Nice Housing and rich/famous yachting. Either side gives you a glorious sunrise and sunset. They... More

The facility and the people are exceptional. Very friendly atmosphere from start to finish. Probably the best hotel in the Ft. lauderdale/Broward County area. I would recommend it for an overnight or week long stay.

Attended this Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale for a conference recently and was pleasantly surprised. Not too jazzed about going to Ft Lauderdale, but the property made it a pretty nice stay. Had a room with a balcony on the pool floor. It was very nice. The service and food was wonderful. I'd go back.

First off let me just say the views are spectacular from the pool deck! They have chairs set up where you can just sit and have a 180 degree view of the ocean . They have a great pool bar, and a nice restaurant on the first floor for a relaxing time. They have a skywalk that takes you directly... More

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. It is one of many stays at various RC in North America. This hotel will not disappoint. Rooms decor is nice & a mix between Traditional and Bahamian design. Food outlets were great. Pool area is beautiful and you also have your own private beach. We definitely will return!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale infuses the Gold Coast with casual luxury as the city's first and only AAA Five Diamond hotel. The 24-story, dramatically tiered and glass walled structure has sweeping curves that are reminiscent of a luxury liner. Design elements recall the 1940's, with artwork that includes playful murals inspired by French artist Jean Cocteau and a 13-foot high mural of a seascape inspired by the 1880 painting, "King Neptune and His Horses." The property features 192 guest rooms and suites; a 2,200 square foot Club Lounge, 24,000 square feet of light-filled meeting space; a 29,000 square foot oceanfront sundeck with an infinity pool and private cabanas; destination Spa with an organic and active-botanical treatment menu and a water-view fitness center. Four dining and entertainment options include the new Via Luna Italian grill with seating indoors or al fresco on an oceanfront patio, the dramatic oceanfront Via Luna Bar, a private Wine Room with a 5,000 bottle wine cellar and a seventh floor Poolside Cafe with commanding ocean views. ... more   less
