Arrived to check in to our intercoastal view room. Yes, you could see the water but only if you ignored the view of the adjacent building's huge rooftop noisy air con system/fans. To top it off our room had a stained carpet & the lounger cover on the balcony was disgustingly stained! Not a great start. The room was massive...

Spent 2 nights, 3 days at the Ritz. The room was incredible and the view of the ocean matched it. Wonderful comfortable beds in a setting that made it feel like room. Wonderful stay. The Hotel Is currently being renovated but I didn't hear anything in the meetings not from my room. Can't say enough about it!

I have given it a four instead of a five because there was renovation work going in which meant we didn't get to enjoy the proper bar and restaurant area . I have to say we were not disturbed by the works at all and We did get the room at a very good rate because of this . The...

This is my favorite Ritz Carlton. It is very well located across the street from the ocean. All of the staff are first class. The Bell Staff are friendly, helpful and do a nice job remembering you. They also are quick to offer bottled water. The front desk staff are also friendly and greeted me as a returning guest. Best...

We were very excited to visit this Ritz location but I was disappointed with its average quality. The hotel was a little dated and the food/drinks were extremely overpriced. When we visited the beach, we felt like we were inconveniencing the staff when we requested and umbrella and chairs (which is part of the resort fee.) The other staff was...

The Ritz staff was fabulous and made our family stay a trip to remember! Service outstanding. Rooms lovely with excellent turn down service etc. The breakfast was perfect especially Carmen and the rest of servers. Pool beautiful with tons of adult and children activities. Biggest hit was the unusual animal show. Pool side food yum. Ocean Beach location very nice...

Staying at the Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale was like a hug goodbye from our S. Florida/Keys family vacation. The property is undergoing renovations, but they did not interfere with our final day of relaxation. The staff was impeccable, sincere and warm. They went out of their way to make sure our last day was memorable. We stayed in a newly...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ritz Carlton. It did not disappoint. We enjoyed a club room with a breathtaking ocean view overlooking the pool. Watching the sunrise and going for a run on the beach really felt great. They have a fantastic pool with great poolside service. I highly recommend spending the extra money for the Ritz, it...

We spent July 4th weekend at this hotel. I thought the room was a bit uncomfortable for us-- gorgeous view of the ocean but just a chaise lounge type of chair/couch in the room besides the bed-- really only room for one to sit! When we checked in late Thursday evening, it took us 3 rooms to get settled into...

After being up since 4 a.m. in the morning and presenting to new clients I was excited to get the Ritz to relax and unwind. I booked my trip via American Express Travel and they let me know there would be some construction at the hotel. When I arrived I was quickly greeted by the front doorman and then by...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale infuses the Gold Coast with casual luxury as the city's first and only AAA Five Diamond hotel. The 24-story, dramatically tiered and glass walled structure has sweeping curves that are reminiscent of a luxury liner. Design elements recall the 1940's, with artwork that includes playful murals inspired by French artist Jean Cocteau and a 13-foot high mural of a seascape inspired by the 1880 painting, "King Neptune and His Horses." The property features 192 guest rooms and suites; a 2,200 square foot Club Lounge, 24,000 square feet of light-filled meeting space; a 29,000 square foot oceanfront sundeck with an infinity pool and private cabanas; destination Spa with an organic and active-botanical treatment menu and a water-view fitness center. Four dining and entertainment options include the new Via Luna Italian grill with seating indoors or al fresco on an oceanfront patio, the dramatic oceanfront Via Luna Bar, a private Wine Room with a 5,000 bottle wine cellar and a seventh floor Poolside Cafe with commanding ocean views. ... more   less
