This is a tough review to write. We stayed one night in a water front site. The view of the water is wonderful, and that lets them get away with not updating the park at all. We arrived very close to closing and it was...More

This campground is a little scruffy but the proximity to the beach outweighs that. But if it were my campground, I would surely put more effort into aesthetics. The place worked out very well for us but still, I wish it were spiffed up a...More

Your right, I am not smart about RV's, but I have friends. All Red Coconut sites have hookups for electricity, water, cable, and Wi-Fi. They have sites directly on the beach, and dogs are allowed. This is Florida, and include islands of Sanibel and Captiva...More

The local news crews constantly rail about the stench, red tide, and dead fish. I gotta a news flash, we stayed there the week of Sept. 17-24. There was no bad smell, I saw 1 dead fish and 1 dead horseshoe crab the entire time...More

About
Description
Stay where you can be in the middle of everything or secluded away in your own private paradise. Red Coconut is located on Fort Myers Beach directly on the Gulf of Mexico and just 1 ½ miles from the Times More Square area, we are within walking, biking, or trolley distance to everything the island has to offer. Bordering our park is the Matanzas Pass Preserve, which is a popular bird watching area and where the canoe/kayak launch onto the Estero Bay Blueway Trail is located. Take a quiet walk through the Preserve and launch your canoe/kayak in the morning then spend your evening watching the sun sink into the horizon while lounging on your beach chair on our 450’ of sugar sand beachfront. Bring your RV, tent, or rent one of our fully furnished mobile units. We offer full hook-ups including basic cable, laundry facilities & recently remodeled bathhouses. WiFi is now available for free to our guests. Less
