We stayed for a week at Sandpiper Gulf Resort. Left NY where it was 35 degrees and arrived to 80s and 90s! Lovely accommodations. Plenty of space in our beachfront room, nice kitchenette and patio. Be warned - no elevators, so we lugged our luggage and groceries to 3rd floor...the only inconvenience. Most meals we took the rental car and...

It was very nice place quiet. The adult and separate children's pool was nice idea. The room was clean, beachfront was directly on the beach. They offered coffee and a paper. No breakfast. You need a car to get to eating which was fine we had a rental car. There was a publix right up the rode. We used their...

Loved our week long sray at Sandpiper! We soaked up sun, went parasailing, and explored the gulf on wave runners with a dolphin tour. We used the kitchen and also grilled fresh shrimp on the hotel's provided grills. Quiet and beautiful. Only thing missing....a restaurant on site or walking distance. Going up Estero and coming back down is not an...

We had a king sized room facing the ocean and the pool. The room could have easily accomodated 4 people, plus it had a kitchen and dining area. The decor was a little dated but clean and comfortable. (super soft beds, not to my liking but may be for some).   The front desk staff was amazing both upon check in...

The Sandpiper Gulf Resort is a great place to stay, particularly if you can get a beach-side room. It's a very clean, well-maintained, and well-run resort and all buildings are no-smoking. The rooms were surprisingly quiet, and we only heard our neighbors once in a while even with the patio door open. The adults-only pool is a real plus for...

I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay at the sandpiper. Location and amenities were amazing! We had a beachfront room on the third floor and were able to sleep with the door open and hear the ocean each night which was so relaxing. Our room was updated and spacious. We also visited the pink she'll and had fun...

Our room was 225 on the second floor overlooking the family swimming pool. Nice room with 2 double beds, sofa, and kitchenette. We like this place because there is an adult pool and family pool, plenty of well maintained webber gas grills, its a mid-island resort (so the beach isn't crazy hectic) and the traffic isn't bad, its close to...

Perfect location on the beach- away from the congestion of Times Square, but very accessible to great restaurants via taxi/Uber. Publix only 12 minutes walk. Very nice and well kept property- friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms were very nice size for week stay, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning/replenishing. Beach area one of the nicest on the beach, handy...

All of the staff at the Sandpiper were very friendly and helpful. We chose a beach view room which had a nice sized balcony with a great view! The room itself was very clean and the king sized bed was comfortable. The resort offers 2 pools, a family pool and an 18+ pool; the beach view rooms are in front...
