I was impressed overall with the amenities, breakfast and room for the price and hotel type. I had a whirlpool room, very spacious and so was the bathroom. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, hot and cold variety was among the best of any hotel breakfast I've come across. Bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. Water pressure low in shower/sink, but jet tub had good water pressure. Extra towel for jet tub would've been necessary if I'd not been traveling solo. Nice check in staff and the afternoon snacks are a bonus! Overall was clean, but could use a deep clean and a refresh as it's on the older side. Conveniently located off freeway and close to restaurants and businesses.

Clean room, comfortable mattress and pillows, very helpful front desk staff, convenient location, and lots of choices for continental breakfast - all items individually wrapped. Arthur was very helpful at breakfast. My only complaint was the sketchy wi-fi.

Good value, great staff. Convenient to I75, but quiet. Older hotel but fairly well updated. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good amenities. Clean. The only indication that I saw of short staff was that they were still cleaning rooms at 4pm. Every single staff member we saw, inside and outside, was remarkably friendly and well mannered. DeShawndre in the breakfast room (I may be murdering her name) was remarkable, and I will remember her. Overall, while not quite as nice as some other Sleep Inns I have stayed in, I will definitely return when passing through again.

I am beyond disappointed with Sleep Inn off archer rd in Gainesville, FL. The stay wasn’t worth the hassle at all. let alone, the fact that their open for business is insanely crazy during this pandemic. Most customers/guests would think during this time of COVID-19, rooms would be spotless clean but that not the case for this location. The rooms carry a lingering foul odor of mildew/mold, the walls throughout the rooms are very discolored, the toilet hardly flush and lastly, the bugs!!! I’ve found fleas, spiders, pet hair throughout the room 😡 and left over debris (most likely from the previous guest) during my stay. It’s very obvious these rooms aren’t being cleaned completely. TO MANAGEMENT (Please spend at least an hour to clean each and every one of these filthy rooms) 10-15 mins isn’t enough time to turn a room for the next customer/guest.😡 It’s like they’re literally making the room ready without conducting a finally inspection. Especially in the department of following protocols of cleanliness. Please be sure to do a full inspection of your room before check in. Please do not end up unsatisfied like myself. On the bright side, a few staff members were truly amazing!! THANK YOU!!! They made my stay slightly easier, despite my discomfort of the horrible room condition which I do not fault them for.

Overall rating of Sleep Inn - 4 (few excellent staff member) 🙂

You are greeted with cookies, coffee, warm popcorn and hard candies! This is more than we usually find.
Our room was nicely appointed but the pillows are tiny. The pillows are as important as a mattress which was adequate.
The breakfast was nice. Scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits with sausage gravy were the hot dishes. Nice variety of yogurts. The fruit was perfect ripeness. The tables were not wiped frequently and were sticky as was the floor.

Very disappointed. The first room was handicap accessible. I did not request that. The refrigerator was barely cold. The bottom drawer was busted or off track. Switched to a different room which was better. The wallpaper was separated in several areas off the bathroom. Will look for a different hotel.

When you request a low floor and away from traffic why are you given a room on the third floor in the corner above a busy road? No hot breakfast due to Covid but plenty of the usual carbs. No bread or bagels. Also, no masks…anywhere, and not a single table wiped down. Hypocrites. Good bed and clean. Won’t return.

We arrived at the hotel around 6:30 pm. The guy at the front desk was a fount of information, and very personable. He sent us to a room on the third floor. When we arrived, we saw that housekeeping had not cleaned it yet, although there were signs that it would be cleaned soon. We went back to the front desk and asked for a different room. The attendant gave us a room on the second floor. He apologized and said they were short a housekeeper, and they had been working very late. When we arrived at the new room, we could still smell disinfectant, but the room was clean. We had no other issues. We are grateful for the hard-working staff who made our stay pleasant.

First all the good - good location, good room, great toiletries, coffee maker, awesome breakfast, in the evening there was popcorn and cookies (amazing cookies!!). Coffee and tea was always there...really convenient. Did not use much of the facilities as I was there for one night. The "could be better" - there was a stale smell in the halls and rooms - the carpet could need cleaning; the coffee maker did not have the coffee tray and bathroom did not lock. I did not sleep well even though bed was really comfortable.

First off front desk (Alice) is wonderful. We called for an early check in and she was so kind. When we showed up later that day she greeted me by name when I walked in. Our room was not what I expected. We booked a king room, pictures showed a seating area & 2 end tables. Instead we walk in and there is a jacuzzi that has a sign saying it doesn't work. No seating area, no end table. I asked about it & was told that we didn't pay for a jacuzzi so it's turned off. I never asked or booked for a jacuzzi & would have much rather had a place to sit other than the bed and an end table to put our phones, glasses etc. Then there were odd white stains all on the carpet. Later that night when we went to bed and pulled down the top blanked the top sheet had dark brown stains on it. It was too late to move rooms and we were leaving in the morning. The tv listing paper doesn't match the channels. Again Alice was a doll. She had a hand written guide because she said the customers all ask for it. Why not put that in each room? The breakfast area was great, the woman running it was so sweet and fast to replace items. Food was good with many options (it is a free meal, people need to realize that).
