The front porch is very inviting and home was restored beautifully. They hosted several parties while we were there,but they did not disturb us. It would be a beautiful venue for a wedding or any party with a place to crash.
This was the recommended accomodation for people attending a week long course locally. I am always suspicious of such recommendations but I needn't have worried.

Well tended antique Victorian style houses that have beautifully furnished rooms to rent. Common areas are well maintained and appear historically accurate with lovely antiques everywhere. All cottages have their own refrigerator, but the rooms in the McKenzie House and Cushman-Colson House do not. However, the two houses have a refrigerator in the common area that guests can use, but it is shared with the other guests in the inn. Yes there is refrigerator space that can be used, but depending on the room rented it may be shared vs. private.
