We had to leave Venice because of Hurrican Ian, a friend found this place for us. From the first phone call to Casey who took time to find us a room for more than one night! From their front desk to anyone who works there is so willing to go the extra for you whatever you need. Yes, they have a wonderful assortment for breakfast with something for everyone. The extra they serve is the "kickback" at 5:30 so many people were like us escaping the hurricane and many had not very much with them. To have this meal provided was a God Sent to so many. Drew walked through the dining room to greet so many people who did not know what they would have left of their homes. Cass also in the morning walked through. Their service is above and beyond, and it made our nine days so much better!!! The servers did their best to keep the buffet stocked asap. Everyone there is a special person to all of us who were a little lost during our stay. …
First, the hotel is modern, clean and well kept. Nice pool that is 1/2 under cover, hot tub, gym with workout equipment, cardio and weights. Business center with computer and complimentary wifi in the hotel, strong signal in my room and the lobby. Price was below the major competitor hotels in the area. I'll be honest, the main reason I chose this hotel is because they had a free full breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, fresh made waffles, oatmeal, cereals and yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee and juices. AND they had a free full dinner buffet with a variety that changed daily, from pasta to chicken, soup, baked potatoes and other things, along with hot dogs for the kids (or adults). AND each adult gets 3 free alcoholic drinks every night, beer/wine/mixed drinks. For those who enjoy fruity drinks (think mai-tai) try their Gainesville Special cocktail.…
Very clean hotel. Super friendly employees working there. Comfortable beds. Super quiet A/C system. There were lots of options for breakfast….cereals, make your own waffles, eggs, muffins, toast, yogurts etc The only minor issue was the rooms on the front of the hotel face Archer Rd & the cars were loud until about 10-11pm. Not sure if the rooms on back side are any better as they face I-75. But I would definitely stay there again.
We stayed at the Gainesville location for 3 days while evacuated for Hurricane Ian. The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. We enjoyed breakfast, dinner buffet and drinks while staying. They made a difficult and frightening time much easier to live through. I would certainly recommend Drury Inn to everyone.
We were evacuated from my daughter’s house because of Hurricane Ian. The staff here were very kind and accommodating and provided excellent customer service. We appreciate their hospitality during this time. The food for breakfast and dinner was amazing and both included in the stay. I highly recommend staying at Drury Inn!!
Very hot at times and manager not very nice handling the complaint. She tried but the face did not match. First time and last time at Drury even though they had some wonderful amenities. This was my only complaint ever to any place that I have ever stayed.
We learned about Drury Inns from a customer of ours. She raved and raved so we had to give it a try. We had a trip planned and needed a half-way point to stay at. Location was right off of I75 so very convenient. The lobby was immaculate and the front desk people were super nice and helpful. We got there right when the dinner/happy hour was starting and were very pleased with that as well! Lots of great choices at breakfast too! The room we stayed in was immaculate and the beds were super comfy. Tried to book a room for another trip yesterday but, sadly, they were full and we had to stay at another place.
We definitely enjoy staying with the Drury Inn brand hotels. From the clean rooms, friendly staff to the popcorn all day and the free breakfasts and 'kickstart' dinners it's truly a great place to stay! They have great amenities throughout the facility. Pool, business center, exercise room, even laundries for the guests. We only stayed 2 night this time, but will definitely stay again if in the area. It is also a pet friendly hotel....just be sure if you're allergic to request rooms away from that area and also away from the interstate noise. It is located off I-75, very convenient to many attractions in the area.
No cameras in the parking lot! My vehicle was parked in the front of the hotel, yet it was still stolen and never recovered! I was told by the cop assisting us that this hotel is in a high crime area. The hotel NEVER told us to beware!
Such great value at a great price. The hotel was spotless, staff was friendly and professional. The room felt private. It was a great experience overall. I wish there was a Drury Hotel in every state!
