There’s another reason why a family would abruptly halt their daily routine and drive all night or hastily book the closest nearest flight to get to Gainesville as quickly as possible. No. Not for the big football game. The moment is when a loved one has been airlifted to Shands. Trauma Center. Hours quickly turn into days. Is it day? Is it night? Will they make it? The connecting hotel was booked and I was directed to stay at Staybridge. Arriving in the middle of the night, I was greeted by Miss JoJo. I was third in line. I watched as this well spoken and crisply dressed professional attended to each haggard arrival with exactness punctuated with a warm, “my love”. It was my turn. Yes. I was also addressed as “my love”. This was so comforting! I settled into the cleanliness of my Staybridge room when I realized that all of the new clothes that had been purchased for my family members staying in the connecting hotel weee in my car. I headed down to the lobby and out to my car. Returning to the front desk with the shopping bags of clothing I asked Miss JoJo the indoor directions to the connecting hotel. She explained them to me and then took a second look at me. “I’ll take you there”. At that moment Miss JoJo sensed my exhaustion and brokenness. That short walk to the connecting hotel with Miss JoJo was healing and affirming.. Thank you Miss JoJo for choosing for a brief few minutes to walk along with me on my journey. Blessed Thanksgiving to Miss JoJo and the Staybridge Gainesville Team!…
Our suite was perfect! It was very clean and had everything we needed. Having a full kitchen was great. The surroundings were quiet, so I was able to get some work done, and the kids were happily entertained. The staff was wonderful from the moment we entered and throughout our stay. Karina and Samantha during breakfast and social hour were awesome! They really made us feel welcome, and the food was tasty. We will definitely return.
I want to say how amazing Karina and Kya were at the social hour . They are two very professional ladies and went out of there way to make sure everyone was enjoying there meal and drinks. They also made sure that everything stayed cleaned. I enjoyed conversation and Interaction with other guests during the social event. I would highly recommend staying here just so that you can meet them and other staff members. It makes you feel like you're at home.
Wow exceeded my expectations. On a road trip and last minute chose an extra stop in Gainesville. I needed a place that’s pet friendly, decent price and clean clean clean. I have severe OCD and even with my medication I still struggle staying in hotels. We’ll Terrell greeted us immediately with a smile and was so professional. He got us in to our room quickly with no problems. I asked for a set of fresh sheets and he had them ready in seconds for me with a smile. The room was very clean and spacious. Bathroom is large. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. My dog enjoyed all the green space outside for him to use the restroom and trot around in. (Note there is a $70 fee for pets but worth it) The pool area is like a resort. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the pool and outdoor space. They have grills and fire pits. Karina and Kya were the cherry on top of our whole stay with a beautiful, CLEAN, and friendly breakfast space. I was greeted with a “good morning” and sincere smile. Everything was continuously stocked as well as continuously cleaned up after each guest. I was so impressed with our stay! I could hardly believe it was just a hotel when it felt more like a resort stay. Too bad we’re just driving through or we would have chosen to stay longer. …
Excellent stay, Karina was amazing at breakfast. Super professional and helpful. We’ll be back. 👍🏼 Clean, located near campus. Good business center. Clean. Did I already say clean? Why does the review HaVE to be 200 characters long? Can’t I say it was perfect in just one sentence?
Karina and her team did a wonderful job with our daily breakfast. Her staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and updated. The hotel served hot and cold options for breakfast. Definitely a perfect spot to come for Gator games
The Staybridge Suites Gainesville I-75 is our family’s favorite hotel in Gainesville. We think of it as our 2 bedroom apartment at UF. Over the last 3 years we’ve attended all the home football games and many of the men’s basketball games. All of the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, quiet and the air conditioning works perfectly. Terrell Littles, the assistant general manager, is like having a brother who works there. He always greets everyone in our family by name. He knows what we like remembers what room we like to stay in. When we’ve booked multiple rooms for our family at the Alabama game or at graduation Terrell takes great care of us. The hotel is new, opened in 2019, and is well maintained. When we walk in to the Staybridge in Gainesville it feels like home. I would recommend this Staybridge hotel to anyone who wants a great place to stay in Gainesville that’s close to UF.…
First, let me start by saying Jalyse is the best! She helped me pick out a few local spots to eat, as I’m not from the area.. The food was amazing based on her referral. Will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area again!
We come to Gainesville to watch the Gators! This is the second time we stayed here! The room was great! Hotel was clean and the breakfast was wonderful! Karina and Shema were both very kind and helpful! I would stay here every time I return !
We are here for the Gators Homecoming weekend & we are enjoying this beautiful hotel & the excellent customer service. Shema & Katrina were warm & welcoming & provided a great & friendly atmosphere. It started our day off right! Go Gators!
