Despite making a complaint at the front office about the occupant above me, the office did nothing to relieve the noisy occupant. The occupant was bouncing a ball against the floor the entire time I attempted to rest. Outside appearance is horrible. Overflowing trash. Dirty stairwells. No one seems to care.
I have never meet such disrespectful people at a hotel. These ladies where down talking the night girl jas and refused to give me towels before you come make sure jas is working!! Worst experience ever. Aimee and another girl with blonde hair was there this morning .
I booked a reservation with booking.com for 1 night for Saturday January 18. I was traveling with my wife and 2 year old son. My sister in law had also booked 2 separate rooms through Expedia for the same day since we were visiting some family members in Gainesville that weekend . We called the hotel around noon to let them know that we had arrived and inquired about the check in time. They told us that we could check in at any time between 3 pm and 11 pm that day and that everything was OK with the reservations. We made it to the Hotel at 9:30 pm that day only to find out that they were overbooked and didn’t have any rooms available! We told the person at the front desk that we had called the hotel earlier during the day and had been told that everything was ok with our reservation, so she said she would call her manager but there was nothing she could do as there were no rooms available for that night. The phone call with the manager lasted 30 seconds and sure enough we got the same non-sense response: the hotel was overbooked and there was nothing they could do to accommodate us. They blamed all the fault on Expedia and Booking.com and didn’t take any responsibility for their fault. So we had no choice but to leave and try to find another hotel so late at night. Terrible experience and no accountability by the person working at the front desk. Will never try to book a reservation at this hotel EVER again. Very disappointed.…
Room comfort and cleanliness was good. But they advertise a full kitchen ( refrig, micro, stove) which they had. But Absolutely nothing else. No pots, no pans, no dishes, no silverware, no cups, and Not Even a coffee maker. Also no ice on the premises except for two empty ice trays in the freezer. In over 60 years I have never seen this combination.
First of all, this is not a luxury hotel, If you want a pool, spa center, a fresh cooked hot breakfast bar and all the rest, look elsewhere and pay as much for a day as this place charges for a week, But if you want a clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed, this is it. Robert at the front desk greeted me by name after the first day. When a minor error was made (and anywhere can make one) he fixed it immediately. Everything in the room was spotless. The location is convenient to everything but secluded and quiet. Will definitely be back.
