The minute we stepped into the door the wreak of cigarette smoke was very powerful. Though we had a non smoking room in a hallway of non smoking rooms, the smell was awful in the hall. The room was not as bad but the odor was enough to cause mild respiratory issues thru the night. By morning our clothing smelled. Would not ever stay here again.
Our stay was clean, restful and pleasant. Staff from start to finish were kind, helpful and accommodating. They were even understanding and professional when an older individual below our room complained about our 2 year old playing after being in a carseat for hours while we travelled. We were moved to another room, above a conference room, so that our toddler wouldn't disturb anyone else. Thank you to the staff for handling the situation so kindly. Not only is he a toddler but also has sensory issues related to his health. I would like to think anyone traveling with a young child, especially children with special needs would be handled with such professionalism as we were that day. God bless!
We have been staying in Choice hotels for many years and expect clean, modern, well kept facilities, especially in the Quality Inn marquee. This was an exception in the worst way. Portions of the ceiling coating were falling off and the wallpaper was peeling. There were halfhearted attempts to repair the wall finish throughout the room. The bath floor was sticky and my hand stuck to the top of the refrigerator from some unknown goo. The bathroom reeked of bleach. The breakfast was bad enough that even the free aspect was not enough to sway us from going out to eat. And worst of all, we paid $100 over the "normal" rate because it was a game weekend, which was not why we were in town.
Hotel is easy access from I-75. Rooms are decent size as is the bathroom. Clean hotel and friendly staff. Breakfast is average for this type of hotel. Basic food selection but can use some improvement
The AC was turned off when I walked in, even though I booked a month in advance. Fortunately it worked when I turned it on. The bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked, but I was exhausted so I overlooked it. When I went to go to sleep and turned back the top sheet there was hair on the sheets.Disgusting! Booked A MONTH in ADVANCE. Plus a huge roach crawled across the wall the next morning! I would NEVER stay there again!!! Would not recommend to my worst enemy!
