When we came down to breakfast we were greeted by the friendliest breakfast attendant named Shirley. Made my entire day and week. We need more people in this world like her. We will definitely be back. Good breakfast too. We stopped on our way to Tampa for a cruise.
We were in town for my brother in laws transplants. First thing in the morning we were greeted by Ms. Red and Ms. Shirley for breakfast. They take care of their visitors! After sharing our story, they prayed over us and have asked each day how he is doing. What a blessing to know that even the hotel staff care!
Stephen was by far the friendliest and lost professional check in I have had in a long time. Even though we came in late, he was ready and prepared to greet us with a smile and treat us with respect and kindness. Great job!
Outstanding hospitality, as soon as you walk in your greeted by friendly staff. They take care of all your request with a smile. The breakfast is fabulous, Shirley your breakfast attendant and other members are very outgoing and take pride in the cleanliness of the area and make sure your breakfast needs are met. If you need to stop in Gainsville, put this in your itinerary.
We arrived in the wee hours and Stephan checked us in. He was super courteous and understanding of our utter exhaustion from traveling. Thanks to him for a warm welcome! Room is clean and accommodates our needs. Comfortable bed and a great night sleep.
Clean rooms and great staff! Especially the breakfast attendants Shirley and Lilo. The check in staff was very friendly as well. Everyone is very professional and efficient. Every area is clean and my family and I have always enjoyed my stay here
I Can not say enough about the outstanding service I received while staying at Springhill Suites. I would like to totally recognize our breakfast lady Miss Shirley. She is a shinning star and should be given the highest award/bonus that there is. She is very personable and lights up the room. What a beautiful person you have working for you !!!!!
It's rare that I fill in these surveys with anything other than a few numbers here and there. In traveling for a living, just don't have the time. However, there are 2 amazing Springhill associates that can't be overlooked. Mornings are usually hustle/bustle, getting around and trying to grab something quick for breakfast. Springhill has a couple diamonds within their hotel - 2 breakfast attendants (Shirley & Red) that not only made our morning, but made our entire trip. Shirley actually took the time, came to our table to introduce herself, to make sure we had everything we needed and to see if there was anything she could get us. She and Red were both "genuinely" interested in making sure we were taken care of. I've been to restaurants and not received that kind of attention. They made us laugh with their enthusiasm and as my co-worker stated... "I feel like I've just received a full cup of shine and happiness." They both have no idea how it set the tone for our operation. These 2 are without question the best hotel staff I've met in over 30 years of traveling, staying in a countless number of hotels.…
This hotel has two amazing employees, the first is Shirley who is the breakfast attendant and is the warmest caring person you could possibly want in that position and she cooks an awesome breakfast. The other is Manuel at the front desk who is the most genuine employee I have ever met at a Marriott property. It was truly a pleasure dealing with these two amazing people this past weekend.
The place was clean and the staff were nice. Easy check in and check out. The only complaint is that the air conditioner was very noisy, especially when it came on and turned off. So loud, that we didn’t get a good night sleep. Which we needed after a 10 hour drive. We’re not sure if we would stay there again.
