My husband and I stayed at the Camellia Rose Inn for graduation weekend for a friend graduating from Veterinary school. The Stardust room, where we stayed had its own balcony. Our hosts, Pat and Tom were delightful and the breakfasts were outstanding! The Inn is charming and is within walking distance to downtown and parks. We will definitely return as...

A really nice place to stay, for any reason! My husband & I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. We were in the cottage (Spat's Hideaway) because we were traveling with our dog. (This is the only accommodation at the Inn in which pets are allowed.) Guinness, our Chihuahua, gives the Inn his double-woof approval. And, we really wanted a...

We have stayed at Camellia Rose Inn four times now. We love this Inn. We love relaxing on the front porch with our wine or coffee. We love being able to walk downtown for dinner. There is so much to do in Gainesville. The butterfly garden, botanical gardens, theater.......... We will be returning.

First of all the photos on their website are misleading..this place is more beautiful in person ! We loved everything and had never felt so relaxed on a trip away from home. This place is spotless...seriously the cleanest place we have ever slept outside of our own home. The bathroom in our room was very large however the water pressure...

Cozy, comfortable, perfectly maintained--I wish my house was this pristine! Great character and location--easy walk to downtown. We'll be back soon. My daughter, soon to be a UF student, wanted to live at the Camelia Rose for her four years :) Pat and Tom were very welcoming and the brownies were amazing! See you soon.

The proprietors, Pat & Tom are terrific. I was lucky enough to find this gem of a place years ago when my son was a college freshman. Usually, my wife & I stay at nice hotels. But Gainesville does not have many great hotel options. My older brother recommended that I explore the bed & breakfast options. The first B&B...

We stayed for one night - and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely B&B. Very conveniently located close to the historic downtown Gainesville (about a 5-10 minutes walk) - and close to the university. Our room was absolutely spotless with a very comfortable (albeit very high) bed. There were portable steps to climb into the bed!! The bathroom was very clean -...

We came up to Gainseville for business and stayed here...what a treat! The beautiful atmosphere, Pat (the owner), her wonderful breakfast, and Bryson...the cat....all added to the cozy environment. We loved it!!!

I keep returning to Camellia Rose because it has never been an even mediocre experience. It is super clean, quiet, comfortable, and elegant. Walking to the nearby park and restaurants is really nice. Pat and Tom do an amazing job. The breakfast and coffee always right on the mark. Brownies and afternoon tea too. So many good things about Camellia...

My wife and I stayed at the Camellia Rose Inn from Jan 20th to 27th, choosing a vacation rental without breakfast in the Hodges Suite. The suite is large with refinished historic hardwood floors in the front sitting room and bedroom. The suite has a large, fully equipped, eat-in kitchen with everything needed to make meals including a full size...
