Upon arrival hotel does not take cash, and I specified a lower level suite, which they said they did not have, but only had an accessible one? Breakfast was ok but no protein being served. Bathroom needed cleaning. Bedroom area very neat and clean.

My review is a Hotel is in a good location near the hospital where I was for treatment. Property appeared to be nice. Lobby appears to be nice. I requested disability room. I received a room on the third floor, requiring me to climb the stairs which is extremely difficult for me I have severe Parkinson’s and other movement disorders. room was nice floor was filthy. Bathroom had no care products in it. Tried to speak to manager about this upon my check out was not sincere. He did not have any concern told him I reserved a disabled room. He told me I did not because that’s not what the computer shows told him I could show him my reservation on my phone where I reserved an accessibility room. Room was nice floor was filthy. He told me I did not because that’s not what the computer shows told him I could show him my reservation on my phone where I reserved a accessibility room Told me it did not matter what my reservation said on my phone it is not in his computer basically telling me so it did not happen. I would love to submit pictures of how filthy the floor was. The refrigerator leaked all over the floor and a picture of my original reservation .

You get what you pay for. This hotel is on the cheaper end and it shows. Stairs only, no elevators. The door to the room appeared slightly questionable to me(are these break-in attempts?? Was a little worried about my safety) The skirt of the bed had stains all over which was kinda gross. Only one lamp was plugged in & working. Beneath the bed where the cords laid were covered in dust & dirt. I had some type of wet mark on the chair in the room. AC was set to 70F which didn’t feel as cold as it should. My room had an unpleasant musty smell to it, almost like there was humidity lingering in the room. At least the bathroom looked pretty decent, no complaints there. The person at the front desk was pleasant.

The facility was clean & well maintained - both the lobby & hallways (as well as the parking area.) The guestroom/bath section was spotless, water flow was good & the shower temperature was easily adjusted. Linens were clean & fresh. The continental breakfast had two fruit juices, cellophane wrapped muffins, bagels, toast, a waffle iron w/ fresh batter, two flavors of fruit yogurt & a pair of good coffee varieties. The registration desk staff members were efficient yet very personable & friendly. Too often reviews offer too little information about the quality aspects of lodgings when the places deserve better overviews. So, the following is a string of too often unusual hospitality "Verys" - a very fairly-priced very good motel that did things very right during our stay.

Stayed here for a game last weekend.
First the positives.
The hotel is indeed located in Gainesville and I didn't see any bugs (though my daughter did see 1).
Now the negatives:
Gainesville hotels are known for charging exorbitant prices during game weekends. At $270.00 /night this place was one of the least expensive. I understand they are going to overcharge but at least take a little pride in the place if you are going to price gouge people.
Employees weren't rude but not friendly either (clearly could not give 2 licks about guests}
Rooms are small. No elevator. Electrical tape covering the missing tiles in the shower. Shower pan staind and looks dirty. Kamode is right up against the vanity so unless you are 100 lbs, you will scratch the heck out of yourself.
Open wires hanging through the ceiling where a smoke detector should be. Rooms are very humid (a hung towel after a shower will still be wet 24 hrs later? Homeless people trying to get in the pool after hours.
The place is just not taken care of and is right out of a 1970's horror flick and should be bulldozed.

The hotel in itself I would rate average. However, throughout my stay, our room was not serviced once. We put the "do not disturb while we were sleeping from 10pm until 9am". We left the room making sure to remove the "do not disturb" sign and didn't return until after 10pm to find our room exactly the way we left it. I had to go downstairs to get at least towels for the next day. I was told by the staff member at night and the next morning I would have to call during the week to speak to a manager. So I just did and received the WORST customer service I have had from Jackeline - the Front Desk Manager. I let her know I hadn't received this service and wanted to know if there was a discount or some kind of credit for this and she literally said "You're not getting a refund and HUNG UP the phone on me. This is completely unacceptable.

I am really tired of review after review. The hotel is great! We stay there most times we come. The rooms are reasonable, and the place is clean. The continental breakfast is sparse, but so it the room where it is. The fact that there is no elevator is a problem for some, fortunately not me.
Guest before us who lock the rooms from the inside as they leave should be s charged double for the inconvenience and work this requires to correct. However, the staff was terrific about it. If you want a comfortable, affordable, centrally located hotel with easy on and off I 75 I recommend it highly.
Peale should be kinder when traveling and cut staff some slack. They are doing their best!

Hotel needs remodeling and deep cleaning. When I pay $105.00 for a room I don't expect it to be big or fancy, but I DO expect it to be clean. We are Wyndham Rewards members. When we first arrived the room had a musty odor and the big window was filthy. When I went to the front desk to request some room freshener spray they said they didn't have any. While I was pleased to see vinyl floors instead of carpet, the floors were dirty. The bathroom had been remodeled and shower was clean. If the hotel is no longer using the shampoo and shower dispenser, it should be removed because they are empty, crusty and dirty. Location is near restaurants and convenient to interstate.

My two teens and I stayed at the Super 8 for a weekend in March 2022. Our room was updated and clean. We especially appreciated the nice laminate flooring, as there's nothing grosser than old hotel carpet. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. There were no noises or smells in our room.
The bathroom has been renovated and sparkled with bright new tile and fixtures. The only suggestion I would make is to switch the water pressures of the sink and the shower. Low pressure in the shower was challenging, whereas I nearly blasted myself through the wall when I turned on the sink. Minor annoyances at most.
The kids swam in the pool, which was clean during our stay. I can't comment on the complimentary breakfast because we did not partake. The location is perfect... you are an average of five minutes from dozens of restaurants and stores and right next to I-75. All in all, it was worth the bargain price.

Owner/manager refused to check us in due to his error of canceling reservation. He told us to shut the (insert cuss word) up. He told the first agent this is why I don’t like checking white peoples. After 2 hours of holding my injured dog and 5 month old he finally checked us in after calling us idiots for using price line, The room was dirty, and smelled like smoke. The sheets where stained. The manager then proceeded to continue to harass us via the phone by saying he wants his money now. Even though the reservation was prepaid for. Super 8 and Wyndham refused to help with this safety incident, and outright grotesque treatment of any customer.
