I’m giving my review 3 stars due to the location, room features and amenities. The “resort” is very close to the beach, shopping, food and has magnificent views. Our room is the two room (one king and the other two doubles) split between the kitchen and living room. It had all the amenities such as plenty of cookware, eating utensils, towels and we had no issues in that respect. We rented from a private owner as I think that would be best when considering a stay here. You probably get a better room/view. I honestly won’t be coming back because I agree with the majority, the place isn’t as clean as it should be. I’ve addressed this issue with the owner and he will pass the info on. I have a suspicion the “Resort” (have to laugh, doesn’t feel like any sort of resort) uses one cleaning company for the whole building which does subpar work. They probably don’t want to pay out for a company who does a good job, which gives a bad reflection on the owners. That’s too bad. If they were to get the rooms cleaner, people would certainly be leaving much better reviews. We enjoyed the pool and gym. Although we didn’t use the shuttle to the beach, it is nice to have. The beds were somewhat stiff, probably need new mattresses at this point, and it’s hilarious that none of the “fitted” sheets “fit”. All kept coming off the mattress, as they were stretched to the limits. I don’t think they have the corrects sheets on the bed. I suggest bring your own king sized sheets, as well as doubles. Other things to bring: towels/wash clothes, kitchen towel/dish towel, Clorox wipes (wipe everything down before using), toilet paper, paper towels, beach towels, slippers or wear socks the entire time in the unit (floor is dirty; feet guaranteed to get dirty/dark), salt/pepper/sugar/coffee supplies and any cooking supplies. The kitchen area is basic. Our unit had everything we needed to cook but there is no left over oils/spices/sugars/salt/pepper if any sort. Your unit should have dish soap/sponge, plenty of dishwasher and clothes soap. At least ours did. Be careful with the shower/tub, can get slippery. We were grossed out finding pubic hairs left in the bathroom/tub, but I pre cleaned before we used. Anyhow, rent at your own risk. The owner we rented from was very good about communication and was attentive to any questions/needs. But as far as this “resort” we won’t be back. Too dirty for the price we paid. We expect more. Shame on this resort.

Arrived at 2:30 knowing that check in wasn’t until 4:00, but wanted to see if a room was available. Waited in line behind a lady who had a list of complaints that would rivals santa clauses toy list. 45 minutes and 6 other folks later I was told there weren’t any rooms prepared yet. It was at this point I noticed a security guard in the room, and later I’d see why. Came back at 4:30 and again only 1 receptionist in a resort with 500 rooms, at check in time. After a few folks the guy Infront of me was livid because he waited in line for 45 minutes only to be told his room wasn’t ready yet 🙄. Really, it’s 4:45 check in time is 4 and at most hotels 3. He was so frustrated he said quite a few choice words and slammed the door on the way out while telling everyone that they should book somewhere else. Now I understand why they need security in the reception room. He politely told me that they had issues with the cleaning department and that they were behind. We were able to check in at 5:30, which made us need to cancel our 6:30 dinner reservations.
Valet is charging $30 per day to do nothing because of covid. You park the car, they hold your keys 🙄 makes zero sense...
On to the room. Our room was on the third floor with paper thin walls and a sewage pipe between walls. We could hear the water from the 15+ rooms above at all hours of the day. I didn’t mind it because I equated it to rain although my lady friend was irate. Hot water is gone by 8:30am because they obviously didn’t invest in large enough tanks for the amount of people. So get up at 6am, or wait until after 2 for a shower.
Blow dryer was hit or miss, it would blow but not hot, or it would be hot and not blow(like most women)...
iron leaked water, and the board looked like someone had used it to temper chocolate.
I’ll give them this, the room and hallways are very very clean.
So if you don’t mind checking in late, paying an arm for parking, showering in the evening, and bringing your own iron this is the place for you.

Let's start by the bad things: lot of weed smell around everywhere out of the apartment!!!!

All the rest was perfect, apartment was very good (except for some details that we got sorted out by the owner), quite spacious, comfortalbe and very well furnished. You can receive Amazon packages without getting charged for it.
Swimming people is great, the place is prepared for small kids.
There is a shuttle to the beach; they do not carry babies unless you take a car seat but, what shall I do with the car seat if I am going to the beach?!?!?!?! Anyway, this won't affect what I got from this place.
It is very well located, just in front of a Walmart, 200mts from beach, walking distance from Publix, CVS, Walgreens, etc.

My husband and I stayed for a week and our room was gorgeous with a breathtaking view! Location is perfect and so close to the beach and casinos. We enjoyed the brief walk to the beach to watch the sunrise and take a dip in the ocean. Beaches were not crowded at all and were very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Ryann as she was very attentive and provided great service to us and helped answer our questions quickly and efficiently. They have staff and security onsite to make sure guests are following safety guidelines. Hand Sanitizer is located throughout the property and they are enforcing their mask policy to have on throughout the property. Valet parking is needed due to limited parking for the location since it is on the marina, but this is how it goes for all the hotels in the area I'm sure. Definitely worth it so we didn't have to search for parking as we were in and out a lot during the week. Would certainly recommend for anyone trying to get away and get some R&R!

Although the resort is conveniently located in Hallendale with shuttle service to the beach ($28.00 per day),. The overall service and efficiency need overall improvement. The staff seems lost. The building has 30 floors with residences included. 2 elevators that take forever to come. fortunately we were on the 5th floor and could walk. Cleaning of rooms is slow. Our first day we had to call because our room was not made up.; They came at 4.30. Our friends travelling with us left the room so that the the chamber maid could make up their room and left leaving the door open.At check-out, the printer was not working so did not get my copy of the bill. It took 3 days of calling before it was finally sent by mail. All in all I would not stay here again

If I could give this place a negative star rating, I would. I stayed at this hotel between March 30 and April 4 for a business trip and all I can say is that it was a stay from hell. The photos they provide online make the place seem nice and clean, however the pictures are FAKE. I was surprised to walk into my room because it was not what I was expecting to see as the room was old and dirty.

First thing I did when I walked into the room was pulled the sheets and comforter aside to make sure I was sleeping on a clean surface. What I found was a dirty and stained mattress. When I told the front desk about the dirt and grime, I was told my entire room would be cleaned and sanitized. This didn’t happen. I went and asked for the status of the “cleaning” and received such an attitude from Antz at the front desk. I was asking him to do his job. Nothing more. Finally, later on that day another member of the front desk team, Noemi, the only good aspect of that hotel (she was great) came to see the state of the room and said she would move me right away, which she did.

This room seemed ok until I once again removed the sheets and comforter and found an even dirtier mattress and comforter that had blood stains on them. Aside from the dirty mattress, I pulled the curtains and found a dirty pair of underwear stuck next to the window.

Aside from both rooms (1806B and 2703B) being filthy, the hallway wasn’t cleaned as there was food sitting on the ground for over 24 hours which no one cleaned up.

As we are in the middle of a pandemic, this place should be cleaned daily as well as sanitized. This place is a health hazard and is disgusting. I highly recommend not staying here and looking elsewhere.

Beautiful modern property . We had a 1 bedroom overlooking the intercoastal and the ocean on the 30Th floor. Stunning view. Worth the extra cost to face the intercoastal . There was sun in your balcony all day long. The most comfortable king bed. The one bedroom has a living room dining room kitchen, then a separate bedroom and large bathroom. Room were clean and fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans and laundry in the unit The staff could not be more accommodating . They have a shuttle that takes you and brings you back to beach or its a 5 minute walk
. Added bonus is a shuttle to Aventura mall as well.
All conviniences around you ,Walmart , restaurants , Starbucks .
Cant wait to go back . Will be recommending this one to all my friends .

I usually wait to write a review but we are staying currently at this hotel and the service is worst ever!
First they messed up our rooms. Everyday for past 3days we’ve been asking to get towels and finally on the 3rd day after calling several times we receive it. This place doesn’t know the meaning of housekeeping and you run into the maids in hallway they don’t speak a word of English . You ask the staff and they say OK but it never happens!
When we arrived there was no bell boys to assist, we had to drag our own luggages and never mind the fact that you have to wait forever for the elevator!
If we could switch hotels we would have done it as it’s the worse stay we ever had!
Also they charge $100/night resort fee for the crappy service.

Our travel agent booked my wife and I into Beach Resort following a Caribbean cruise on the understanding it was a 4 star hotel to chill at before flying back to the UK.
It became clear at reception while trying to check in that the hotel was very much a one night, transit hotel. Slow check in, poor customer service at reception and diabolical lifts which couldn't cope with the numbers using them at any time.
We'd made the mistake of opting for breakfast when we booked - another mistake. Scrambled eggs were served up cold, toast which was warm but didn't give the appearance of having seen a toaster. The restaurant had run out of jam come day two. The waiter had to cope with a busy restaurant and was indifferent to customer complaints.
Rooms on north side of the hotel faced the busy Hallendale Beach Blvd and due to the noise and dust balconies were pretty much unusable.
The pool area is visually quite nice but not the safest for kids as only a rope barrier separates it from the adjacent canal.
Portrayed as a 4 star hotel but in my experience would be lucky to achieve a 3.
Very disappointing stay and my advice would be to find somewhere else like a Holiday Inn.

To start on a good note the view of our room was very good, so the the valet car service & gym was descent . But sadly thats it .
The front desk almost refused to give us our confirmed room due to their super messy reservation glitch . Same thing happened again during checkout . Charged extra & then reversed it back , an hour min again . We got the room finally after waiting for 1.5 hr after the normal check in time . The carpet , the sofa was super dirty & need immediate change . There were food & wine spillovers all over . Kitchen utensils & cookware throughly unclean with food residues & We had to buy full new sets for our use . The dishwasher power dispenser never worked . Broken toaster .Bathroom is very old . Dirty balcony with uneven concrete floor .
The house keeping was very inefficient ( the guys) . Never changed the sheets & towel unless asked . Never moped/ vacuumed ( again guy house keepers) & always a wanted to skip the paid daily service .
Pool was a total mess . Ppl eating/ feeding food on water , talking loudly ,holding chairs without ppl & so on . We were so done in one day . The bistro was also very very basic .
Sadly $275 of our spending towards resort fee & amenities were totally wasted .
Lastly although the property is very conveniently located , the photos does not match with the real state at all . Hope the management pay heed to the critiques & make some positive change .
