Good spot for a check-out dive trip for my teenager. October 24-25 trip, and at this time of year in particular, one really needs wet suit and booties, as the spring water is a constant 72 degrees. Gloves also a plus. Went into High Springs to Great Outdoor Restaurant which was very nice.

We went for a weekend trip. Had THE best time ever! The springs were so clear and beautiful! The grounds were super nice. The country store had everything we needed. The staff were very nice. We swam in the springs and then floated the river which I had never done before. It was so much fun! The next day we...

I've had many friends rave about this place so I had to check it out. My girlfriend and I were traveling back from Atlanta to Sarasota,FL and decided to stop and spend the day at Ginnie Springs. I'm glad we did! Yes, there were people drinking. It was the beginning of August so lots of young people. Grade school to...

I have been tubing before at Ginnie and had a blast with my entire family. Recently I went there to take photos to paint, I am an artist. It did not disappoint. Each spring was more beautiful than the next. Devil's Eye a must see. A feast for the eyes. I have never camped here so I cannot rate it.

Beautiful spot but entry is a little pricey for just swimming and snorkeling and the choices are very limited since it can be very crowded in the summer months. We recommend finding a different spring for just a family day trip

This was our first time to Gennie Springs and it was the 4th of July weekend, which we were a little nervous about. Like most of the reviews say, it was a holiday and there was a lot of younger people drinking and having fun but it wasn't out of hand. The water was the clearest water we had all...

I go about once a year (in June) with a large group. It's pretty much the only time the guys all get together throughout the year. Had two bachelor parties and our 30th birthdays here. It's a lot of fun if you don't mind the noise. The river is COLD,but it's nice on a hot day. People are friendly. Also...

We have been going to Ginnie for well over 15 years. The springs themselves are incredible. Unfortunately over the last couple of years management has failed miserably. It has been overrun by underage drinking college students who do not need sleep. They are completely out of control. They are up all night blasting music throughout the campground, racing and revving...

We go to Ginnie every year , once in June (w kids) and once in October (w/o kids). We have a wonderful time and have never had a problem. Stay away from Holiday weekends if you have children because it is more like spring break then camping. They even tell you that when you call to book for a holiday...
