Detailed Reviews
Decent hotel but pricey for the mixed dated ambience.
Family stay after a cruise. There’s a fee to check in early before 4pm. $50 fee or $25 if you’re a member, just sign up free online or you can wait at front or by pool.
Was not offered any complimentary bottled waters. There was a small self serve water dispenser with the paper cone cups in the corner.
Kids eat free but this isn’t the typical self serve buffet style found at most Holiday Inn hotels. We ordered off a breakfast menu and it’s decent sized portions but not flexible for kids to pick and get drink/food refills. They were excited to press a button to make their own pancake/waffle but they don’t have this here. We were very surprised how they track tickets for the complimentary breakfast, we paid for it and never got tickets. She had to check with the manager despite it showing on my app invoice.
Room 304 was tidy and clean enough. Elevators are dark and dated but worked and no weird smells.
Pool was nice, water fall worked well and water was clean. Hot tub was small, pool towels were really small and never seemed stocked, we kept asking front desk for them.
All staffed was pleasant enough and helpful.
Only McDonald’s, Denny’s and gas station walkable nearby.

We stayed 3 nights at the Holiday Inn on Sheridan St. in Hollywood FL. We were in room 604.
The hotel is right off I95, and right by one of the main roads in Hollywood to the beach.
The room had 2 queen beds, TV, A/C, a table and rolling chair, one comfy chair and foot stool, small fridge (with no freezer compartment), one cup coffee maker, iron and ironing board, but no safe or microwave.
The beds use a fluffy blanket (comforter) which I dislike.
There is a microwave in the business center (!?) if you really need one, along with one computer terminal there.
The bathroom had a tub and shower, but the sink was outside, in the room.
There is a laundry room on the 3rd floor, but it is not labeled.
The pool is heated, but the jacuzzi was out of order.
There is no free breakfast, but coffee is available in the lobby during breakfast hours.
All the columns are spiral columns, which are pleasant to look at.
We would stay there again.

The hotel is near to a busy Interstate, and therefore very noisy on one side. Front desk staff very helpful in moving us to a quieter room on the other side (thank you Marshall).
The rooms are tired and in need of updating, but OK for a one night stay.
We ate dinner in the restaurant, which turned out to be a mistake. Staff were very friendly but the food obviously came out of a microwave - and had not been in there long enough! Mashed potatoes, vegetables and crispy chicken all cold. Breakfast was better.

The absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had. We booked a room for one night so that we could sleep after our flight before leaving for Key West in the morning. Our flight had been delayed several hours due to Chicago snow, and we weren’t scheduled to get in til around 2am. We were looking forward to finally getting to our bed after hours at the airport/on the airplane. The hotel called us “as a courtesy” to tell us that our room had been given up, since we had not yet shown up, and that we no longer had a place to stay. We had been told we would be refunded. We were not refunded, but instead charged for the night. We called the hotel multiple times to try to rectify this situation, each time being told that a manager was unavailable. Once I finally got a hold of one, Quinto Perchon, I was told repeatedly that I would not be refunded for the stay. He continuously raised his voice at me, told me that “I needed to think of this situation from the business perspective” and that anyone checking in after 6pm takes the risk of not having a room available for them, but still being charged. He was rude, disrespectful, and had horrible customer service skills. They are making double the amount of money, off of a single room, each time they attempt this scam. We are still in the process of fighting this charge, both with the hotel and with our bank. Literally stay anywhere other than this hotel.

I did enjoy staying here however, I am so upset about they being charged me for running late for the late check out time and they also told me use this fee for their housekeeping staff clean my room even though, I am being a Gold IHG Member and I also am a hearing impaired guest. In addition, it was not my fault that the ones of their ADA Guest Room Device Kit is not working, and their premium rooms does not have the hearing accessible doorbell wireless. I am hugely disappointed. I am not highly recommend for the IHG members staying here at this hotel because I am concerned they will charge you running late for the late check out times. I did find out about This hotel still outdated and they are not ready renovation and they need to get start renovation real soon and also add new hearing accessible premium and suites beside rooms.

Stayed here for 1 night after our cruise with 4 young children. It is convenient to get to the airport and the pool was great.
However, we were told when we got there that they were now on seasonal hours and the pool would close at 6pm. It was 85 degrees out. Great…. So while it was nice we didn’t get to use it for very long.
The real issue is a poor experience we had with the female bartender. We asked here where there was a good place to order pizzas and she gave us her suggestion and said they even deliver to the hotel. Perfect!
Since there are no tables (other than the desk) in the rooms we brought the pizza down to an EMPTY patio area. We were at the opposite side of the “restaurant” and bar. We grabbed a few napkins from the bar and were rudely told we can’t eat there. At this point we were more than halfway done and said we had no idea we couldn’t eat there and we’ll be out in a few minutes as soon as the kids were done. Again it was EMPTY.
Less than 10 minutes later the security guard approached us and said the bartender had called and said we were refusing to leave. We explained the situation and asked where we could eat the pizza? He said I guess only in your room. Real nice.
Needless to say we won’t be going back. There are too many other hotels in the area to stay at and we will gladly choose one of them!

I STRONLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. I arrived at the Fort Lauderdale Airport and called at 4:30 for an airport shuttle. I was given directions on where to be picked up by the hotel staff. About six to seven calls and 4 hours later I was picked up with not even as much as am "I'm sorry". Of the two key cards given, one didn't work at all. Also, the breakfast was less than desirable and took over half an hour for a piece of toast and fruit. Not to mention you have to pay additional for the breakfast. Additionally, the price was astronomical on Friday night during the busy season. You will be doing yourself a favor if you spend your money elsewhere.

One of the key reasons I selected this hotel for a pre-cruise night was that they promoted their free airport shuttle on their website. Well, they do have a free shuttle if you are willing to wait an hour and 20 minutes. So if the free shuttle is important to you, I strongly suggest you stay somewhere else.
Here is what we experienced:
1. The website says to call for the shuttle, so after we retrieved our luggage, we called. The hotel took our name, phone number and location for pickup.
2. Twenty minutes later, I called the hotel and was told the shuttle only runs on the hour. It just left and should be there soon.
3. Twenty minutes later, I called the hotel again and they said they would contact the driver. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes. During this time, we saw the shuttle drive past Terminal 2 (they did not stop). After the 10 minute hold, I was told the shuttle was full and would come back to get us after they dropped everyone off.
4. At this point, I spoke to the manager and asked them to reimburse us for a taxi since they are not able to provide shuttle service. The manager said that the shuttle is free service and we could chose to wait or pay are own taxi fare. I then asked if they would compensate with a free dinner and they declined.
5. At this point, we had already waited and hour and decided to take a taxi (shared with others that were also waiting). While we were loading luggage into the taxi, the shuttle bus driver called and said he would pick us up in 10 minutes.
6. Thirty minutes later, the couple that we shared the taxi with received a call that the shuttle was finally available.
7. When we arrived at the hotel, there was a second shuttle in the parking that was not in service (surrounded by cones).
I highly recommend you chose another hotel. There is not much around this hotel for dining or shopping. There are much better places to stay that have hotel managers that are concerned about their guests and the service that they provide.

I reserved at this hotel because of the supposed clean CDC standards. I was moved from the first room because the lock to the sliding door was broken. I was assigned to a second room with no sliding door and I met housekeeping outside the door so I assumed the room had been just cleaned.
I was in town to visit my mother after a year of absence due to COVID. I dropped my bags and went to her assisted living facility.
Later I returned to my room when the experience started.
First off the amenities were missing, only a bar of soap and a used bottle of lotion. The bathroom was filthy! Mold was everywhere in the shower including on the ceiling and the grout was disgusting. The floors throughout the room were gross.... the drawers had hair, dead bugs and other unidentifiable yuk.
During my 3 night stay I never saw extra cleaning like you do everywhere these days. Halls were dirty, elevators nasty and staff was pretty much nonexistent.
By the pool the spa was broken and roped off.
I would never stay in this filthy hotel again! IHG you should be ashamed that you advertise cleanliness during these times when guests should trust that you have their safety as a top priority.

Yes, but it is not included. They have a restaurant off the lobby.
Can’t answer. Sorry.
They don’t offer one only through a 3rd party company so I just used Uber for $35 (for 2 people) it took about 30 minutes on a Saturday morning.
