My daughter's desire for her birthday was to go to the beach for a few days. I researched and found Tuckaway Shores. It turned out to be way beyond our greatest expectation! We stayed in a first floor ocean front unit. The large window overlooked the beach and with the backdoor open, it was like being on the beach! I...

We always love to hear how our guests find us and the reasons for their visit. Sounds like you and your daughter had an eventful stay for her Birthday and that pleases us. When ever a guest is planning to celebrate a special day or event, we always hope they let us know before arrival and "maybe' we can help...

This such a charming little hotel. Brought back childhood memories of motels I stayed in during the 60's. Very clean, comfortable and convenient. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and beach a great deal.

We always appreciate hearing from our guests and especially love to hear from those that remember the "good ole' days" of Florida hotels before the big chain hotels replaced so many. There are still many of the smaller independents left that take pride in offering guests a true "old Florida" experience and extremely clean and well maintained rooms and grounds....

My husband, daughter and I spent a weekend t Tuckaway Shores last year! The views were amazing and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was priceless! The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable! A little pricey in comparison to surrounding area locations but we had a great time at the private beach and my husband enjoyed early morning...

We decided to try them for our vacation after finding them during an internet search of local hotels. Boy are we glad we did. The place reminded us of what we are used to when visiting the Jersey shore. Separate bed and living rooms with a small kitchenette. Our second floor room had an amazing view of the ocean, complete...

I recommend this place to everyone who wants a great beach trip without all the commercialism. I love the old Florida feel. I love that the rooms have kitchenettes so you don't have to eat out every meal. But if you do want to eat out you can walk to a great little restaurant up the beach and never touch...

Thank You for your review; how we love, love, love to hear from our guests and their personal description of their stay. There's just something about that "old Florida" experience you just can't get from the big boy hotels and we love for our guests to convey that to potential guests that may have never had that same experience.

I was on the second story with a balcony and had a wide open view of the water. The room had a full kitchen and a very spacious. I love it because it made me feel like I was staying in a place from my childhood - so quaint, clean and very old Florida but so charming!!

"Old Florida" is what I call it too. I've also heard it described as "authentic Florida", "classic Florida", and "retro Florida". No matter what you call it, I think most of us know the "style and ambiance" this stands for. Thank You for your time; it means a lot to us that our guests truly enjoy their experience at Tuckaway...

Have been there twice now. I love it so much I almost want to give it a bad review just to keep it a secret so I will be able to get reservations when I go again! Very clean, wonderfully appointed, great location and the beach... such a wonderful beach. A nice quiet enjoyable beach to sit on, take long...

I need to hire you and some other of our guests; you all do a much better job of explaining "why" others should at least give Tuckaway Shores a try. As always, THANK YOU for your time in writing this review; this helps so many others. making a decision on where to go.

Our favorite old style hotel. Style and personal attention makes it our choice over the big box hotels every time. We come every fall for 4-5 days and stay with a large group of friends. This is the perfect place for big family reunions, or any other large group. They go above and beyond to accommodate all the different needs...

Awwwww, how nice to hear. As we like to say, "if we get you once, we've got cha". Nine visits; wonder how many others can say that about where they like to stay? We'll keep doing everything it takes to keep you coming back.
