Horrible and disgusting hotel. Room smelled terrible. Paint was cracking off the wall. Needs complete remodeling and definitely not worth the money. The maid tried coming in our room with out knocking and scared us. Horrible hotel save your money!

My husband and I do not need luxury, and we are very thrifty, so we took a chance on Gulf Towers in spite of the reviews. We regret our decision. The location is great and our room had a balcony that overlooked the Gulf. The good points end there. In our room, the balcony window screen was torn and the...

We stopped in to check this place out, and it was so dirty that you couldn't pay us to stay there. The rooms we all dark, dingy, and smelled. I know some people think they will not be spending that much time in the room anyway, but trust me you should run, not walk away from here.

This hotel is well past its prime. We stayed here in April and were glad to come across it, as it was reasonably priced for the area, and most other hotels were full or were weekly rentals. We had a third story room with a balcony looking over the Gulf. View and location were spectacular. Beach is fabulous. Our experience...

Not updated, lots of things need fixing, including a leak in the bathroom. BUT, it is gulf front and comfortable and reasonably priced. Not too shabby, wish it were more deluxe. No continental breakfast offered.

This is a tough one to write. The location of this place is perfect. We walked out of our 1st floor room and were in the ocean in about 25 yards, if that far. Lots of food, drink, and supplies close by. Nice warm pool. We read all the negative reviews and decided that we did not need luxury and...

You can't really beat the location, right on the beach. The room is a little scruffy, but a nice size. The bed was extremely comfy, which I loved. The staff and the rules were a little odd, but that didn't bother me too much. It is across from a restaurant/bar so if you face the street it might be a...

To be honest for a Motel it is clean. The location is perfect as you are right on the beach and there is a great seafood restaurant "Crabby Bill" accross the street also there is a CVS walking distance. Unfortunately, we had some what discrepancies with what I had booked on Expedia. As expedia website said I had pay all...

Maybe somebody working for the place read all the bad reviews, and the place cleaned up its act... ....but we had a wonderful time. Sure, it's old, it's funky, it's outdated, and very much in need of an upgrade/remodel. But it follows the First and Most Important Rule of Beach Resorts: The older the place, the better the location, as...
