Our son and his husband went snorkeling and we took the glassbottom boat ride. Saw lots of fish and beautiful coral reef. Spent an enjoyable day there. Perfect place for snorkeling, diving. We all thought the personnel were very helpful on the boats.

This is the first negative review I have ever left, but my experience was really painful. We didn't spend the night at the campgrounds. We stayed at a lovely nearby hotel. But while my husband and two older children went snorkeling (which, by the way,...More

Small campground with very close together sites. The sites are small gravel rocks which we liked . Power and water were on opposite sides of our site ( site 21). Directly behind our site was a mangrove/swamp so we had a little problem with noseeums....More

Nice FL state park, clean facilities & descent $ rate. Only issue must book well in advanced! No walk-in availability. Had to hook July trip 11 mos before thru reserveamerica.com. Reserve America is not helpful if you call them.

mosquitos can be heavy in all of Florida in the summer. I've never seen a chigger in the keys, so the previous answer may be referring to no see ums, a gnat that also bites. be prepared for typical Florida bug weather.

I used Google Earth, screen captured and then reverse engineered the site numbers using the reservation system. Shade in the summer would be helpful (very helpful).
