Arrived late but the keys were left to our apartment and the property was well lit. Very comfortable and inviting. In the morning we were able to see the location better which showed it was right next to the sea. Lovely amenities and friendly staff

Is there a natural/large beach in walking distance?
Sorry but there are no natural / large beaches within walking distance of Azul del Mar. A short sprint or cycle ride away, John Pennekamp State Park has a large man-made beach and you'll find most hotels have small, well-groomed private beaches. If you manage to acquire a boat there are a couple of natural, sandy beaches way out in Everglades' National Park on Florida Bay.

It is Blackwater Sound and leads directly out to Everglades National Park.
