The Reach is definitely not a Waldorf Astoria resort by any stretch of imagination. It is probably a double tree at best. The property looks like a old 3star hotel. I was in a king courtyard suite that was Ok and definitely not among the top suites in the world. They have a shared private beach with Casa Marina. Having...

This hotel has a great location near all the bars and restaraunts, but far enough away to be quiet. The small beach is very nice and the staff are great. As many others have said, this shouldn't be a Waldorf. It just isn't that impressive and is in serious need of some cleaning and paint. Some of the rooms have...

While maybe not the most traditional Waldorf, this small resort with its own private beach is the ideal getaway while in Key West. Close to Duvall st yet very quiet. I'd recommend upgrading to the studio suites with at least the courtyard view as the regular rooms are small though all have balconies. The service at the front desk can...

Spent 3 nights here with 2 upper-teenaged daughters. Great location at the south end of Duval street. The rooms were nice although the building as a whole not in the best condition. Nice little beach with a pier and lots of water sport activities that can be booked on the property. I recommend the jet ski tour around all of...

This is a nice Hilton hotel, at Waldorf prices. Great location, so I guess that is what you are paying for in your high room rate. However, do not expect Waldorf-Astoria ambience, service, luxury. There are no indoor hallways which lends a lot to the disappointing ambience. Service is ok across the board. Pros: Dinner in the Strip House is...

Do not spend your money at this resort. It should not be called a Waldorf at all! The hotel is dirty and the common areas are like a seedy apartment complex. The room was very plain and our bathroom was dirty. We complained and they sent someone back in and nothing was different. It was terrible and ruined our vacation....

I think it was a good hotel overall. We only stayed one night and spent more time outside the hotel than actually inside but it was long enough to notice that the rooms were clean and not outdated. But there was a brief moment during the night in which the area next to the sink was swamped with ants and...

For our trip to Key West, we originally had a reservation to stay in a cottage in the heart of Key West. However, family encouraged us to switch to the Reach. The Reach was more expensive but it was worth it. Being at a resort gave my kids lots of room to play, & they spent many hours on the...

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights in November, room 412. This was our third time staying at The Reach. Once again, we were very happy with our stay! The customer service was great, the grounds and room were very clean, and the location is perfect.

The is our second stay at The Reach, the first was in 2010. Since then, the hotel has declined somewhat and is showing some wear and tear. It is well-known that the private beach at the Reach is the best beach on the island, but for that fact, I would consider other hotels. The Room: We booked the Romance Package...
