Our week at this resort was awesome! The accommodations were wonderful and the numerous pools and beach were great! Kudos to all the staff, as they were so friendly and great to deal with. A couple extra shoutouts: Sam at the Registration desk was so helpful and accommodating. Shai was a sweetheart and went out of his way to help us. Todd at the Shores pool always had a smile on his face and was friendly and funny.
This was our first time to visit/stay at the Southernmost Beach Resort in Key West. The room location and view was beautiful, staff were excellent and very helpful, the location is great, beach is breathtaking. Nothing negative at this resort.
I recently stayed at The Southernmost beach resort on 1/22/23 and had the best time with Gil at the Pinapple pool. I’m not much of a drinker but he stilled showed my gf & I such a good time that we decided to eat at the bar. Service & food was good. Everything was clean & staff was courteous. I will definitely consider this place for our annual trip. Make sure to find Gil from Maryland as your local bartender!
Doina Saunders makes the best Bloody Mary’s in Key West. I honestly, it’s probably the best Bloody Mary I have ever had. Highly recommend. The beach view is a bonus watching the shrimp boats on the horizon.
From the check-in, to the property, to the pool, to the bands playing on the beach....;) and the smiling faces all around...this was our 4th time at Southernmost Beach Resort. If you want to experience Key West and all it has to offer, please consider this resort. Pools, beach, drinks, music & overall 'calm' atmosphere...then walk to Duval only 3 minutes up the road. We WILL be back!
Possibly one of the best experiences I have ever had. The avocado trio tasted amazing. The somo Bloody Mary had crispy bacon in it and the bartender spiced it up a little with sriracha sauce after asking him to make it spicy. I think I had like 3 or 4. Solid drinks and food! Saunders and Doina made sure I was well taken care of, although the bar seemed busy. A great way to spend a Sunday Funday in Key West!
This hotel is very clean and renovated. We enjoyed using the beach and pools. The pools often had musicians playing which was a nice touch. This location is a great one because it is tucked away a bit from the hustle of Duval Street but an easy walk to most places.
Hotel was part of a Diamond Priemer package deal with Rokisland Fest 2023. We added two additional days to the package so we could arrive on Sunday instead of Tuesday. Check in was easy, the front desk gave us complimentary glass of champagne on arrival and helped take our luggage to our hotel room (resort is big). They have bicycles available, but did not know that, so we had bicycles delivered and waiting for us when we arrived. Was told there was hotel robes to use, but they were not in the room, so called the front desk, they stated that they would send someone up with the robes. Well fell asleep waiting on the front desk. The next morning went to the front desk to ask about the robes again, they said they would have them delivered. This time they showed up. Could catch beautiful sunrises and sunsets from this hotel resort. Hotel provided bottled water in the room each day. Room was serviced each day. The room we were in had some maintenance issues. Floor in front of the bay window was soft, felt like there is water damage and the wood is rotting away. There was mold in the shower. The fire alarm started chirping and need battery replacement, which took two phone calls to get someone there. So not only are you awakened by the rooters, but we also had to listen to the fire alarm chirp of 1.5 hrs. The furniture was poor quality and the dresser draw stuck, so had a hard time getting it back open, Once got the draw open, never used that dress again. They are strict on bringing items to the pool area. We had been there for 6 days, walked through the pool daily since it was right by our room, the pool attendant chased us down, asking if we were guests at the hotel. Resort might have been still recovering from the hurricane, as there were some grounds maintenances that needed to be done. During check out, I got my bill, which should have had a zero balance. All nights were paid in advance as part of the package with Rokisland Fest. We got charged for our first night, I told the front desk that we already paid. She stated that there was nothing in the system. that shows that. They had no issues checking us into the hotel, because I had a reservation from the Rokisland Fest. I showed them the confirmation from Rokisland Fest and the charge on my card from back in June when we booked the hotel. So now have deal with getting my money back for the average hotel stay. …
We had a wonderful 4 days and 3 nights here. The rooms were immaculate and quiet. The hotel was well-staffed and the service was efficient and not intrusive. The food at the Beach Cafe is far superior to the usual pub grub. Great location. We will return.
This resort is beautiful! I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The staff was so friendly and my favorite bartender was Jazmine! She is so fun and lively. She made me feel so comfortable at the bar and we chatted it up for hours. Wishing all bartenders were like her at every hotel! Thanks to Jazmine and Southernmost Beach Resort for an amazing stay!
