We booked two nights well in advance on a 3rd party site. It was a spacious room with a comfortable king bed. Main likes: central location on Duval St; walking distance to/around old town; boutique herirage vibe with compact courtyard with pool; very helpful staff. Main dislikes: sloppy repair/finishes in bathroom and pool apron; funky smell in room (not spotlessly...

Very nice and a change of pace from hotel chains. Employees will go out of their way to make sure you have a nice stay. Majority of community area is shaded. Felt at ease and was very relaxing after touring. Close to many sights.

We were tickled when our snowbird friends asked us if we would be interested in joining them for the long trip to Key West and three nights at the Wicker Guesthouse. Originally I thought that our trip to the Keys would involve another area, but if you want the full experience you have to spend time near Duval Street, and...

Wicker Guesthouse is actually a collection of several small buildings arranged around a pool and seating for breakfast. The front office and some of the rooms face Duval Street. We stayed in a large room at the "back" of the property so we didn't notice any street noise. Room 123 had a back porch and was steps to a (locking)...

We had 6 couples, so rented 6 rooms for a week...it felt like home!! Pat and Andrea were WONDERFUL! They helped w a package I was secretly having delivered, all of the employees were so sweet and helpful! Awesome muffins at breakfast!! Cute and quaint; great pool area, and right around the corner from CVS and Denny's (for late nite...

The people here are EXCEPTIONAL! Every single one of them was super friendly and happy and made you feel like you were part of their family. I only gave 4 stars because the mattress in our room really needed to be changed, it is old and broken, and the people staying here every night were inconsiderate of the fact that...

First of all, Key West accomodations are very expensive and the guesthouses around Duval Street are not up to a standard you would expect for the price you pay. But staying in that area is essentiel, because you can walk to all the major attractions. Wicker is nice, but you have to pick your room carefully. Rooms on ground floor...

The location was perfect for exploring the whole of the old town and marina on foot. Renting a car to get about is not necessary. Receptionist Pat was a joy to encounter and an asset to the company. Breakfast was a disappointment on Day 1. We never ate there again during the rest of our stay. I had read a...

Staying at the Wicker Guesthouse will give you the total Key West experience. It is right in the heart of Duvall St. in the middle of everything. You are a short walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and sites to see. This is an old house turned into a hotel and has all the charm to go with it....

We visited the Wicker Guesthouse over Christmas weekend and had a fantastic time. The service was over the top and we really felt like welcomed guests. We got a free room upgrade for our stay and were able to enjoy a spa bathtub and use the outdoor grill for dinner. Despite being on Duval close to the action, our room...
