A lovely hotel. We had room 201 which has a great balcony and view over the sea and the pool. Good breakfast and a really great pool. Staff were very helpful. No lifts so you have to use stairs. Good base for exploring Duval street.

Not to worry. The snow fencing is around the area where they’ve poured a concrete pad for a food truck (yet to arrive). I understand there were several palms and other vegetation lost to the hurricane this fall. The only other construction notices would be that the hurricane took out one section of the railing on the ground floor porch (although I hadn’t noticed there were potted plants filling the gap until the bartender mentioned it) and the second floor balcony on Duval side is closed for repair.
