Loved the Moorings - fantastic little house, steps from the beach, beautiful pool and grounds. The beach was quiet, with lots of coconut trees for shade. On the down side, there's no room service or even food on property - they have an affiliated restaurant across the street. But the house we had was clean & comfortable, with a full...

We wanted something special, something memorable, something that was effortless for my wife's 50th bday party. I wanted to show her a one of a kind weekend as we had all our family and best friends staying in 4 houses at the property. Thanks to the entire staff at the Moorings Village and Spa, the absolute best weekend was delivered...

I stayed for several days with my husband and baby in the Parker house. For what this Resort is, it is pretty magical. The grounds are lovely, the house was very nice, the beach is picturesque, and it is very, very quiet and private. It LOOKS like a five star hotel (And costs like one!) but it isn't exactly a...

We came here just to make some pictures, after our journy true the keys, like Marathon and Key West, of the tv show bloodline. The girl from the front desk was very friendly to let us park our car and walk to the beach to take some pictures. Beautiful beach and landscaping and we hope we can stay here a...

This is almost the perfect place to stay in the Keys. The property is beautiful, there's absolutely no denying that. The chalet exceeded our expectations and the pool area was wonderful too. The vegetation around the property is extraordinarily beautiful and the views out over the ocean are picture perfect. For us there were two things that let the experience...

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are very happy to see you enjoyed the pool and that the cottage and accommodations exceeded your expectations. Hopefully, you mentioning the beach is not a swimming beach but more of a relaxing one will enlighten our future guests. The water here is a Caribbean style - meaning we...

My husband and I originally booked our week vacation at a hotel about 5 minutes down the road from the Moorings. After the first night there we decided it wasn't going to be the experience we were hoping for so we took a chance and looked into moving to the Moorings for the remainder of our trip. The staff was...

Thank you very much for the review! We are glad you enjoyed your time with us over Easter weekend. As you mentioned, one of the best things about The Moorings is no matter how busy it is over a particular holiday in the Keys, the resort itself is always quiet and relaxing. We thank you for choosing The Moorings and...

5 stars is not enough for this truly idyllic resort. I am completely in love with The Moorings and wish we could've stayed for more than 2 nights, but trust me, we will return! Check in was very quick and the guy who showed us to our cottage was beyond friendly and helpful. The cottage was to die for! Beautifully...

Well, I've been around. This place definitely has the goods on best beach, privacy, luxury, uniqueness, and getting what you pay for ...almost. Having never been to the Keys but putting my money on this place, it was a strangely warm check-in -- by strange I mean the young man at the front desk was fantastic and welcoming, yet there...

What a view towards the east from this resort! Quite time, super security....No worries! So you might be a big fan of the hit Netflix original called "Bloodline"? It's filmed here...you well recognize the neat well groomed housing, the long pier stretching out into the emerald waters..and of course..that bent palm tree you only get to see on a calendar....

Terrific setting, low keyed and very well maintained. Really a beautiful setting, you are almost always alone wherever and whenever you want to be. Friendly staff. Don't go expecting to swim in the ocean because there is plenty of sea grass and muck, buy the views are incredible and there are other water options such as kayaks and paddle boards...

Thank you for staying at The Moorings during your recent trip to Islamorada. We are so glad you enjoyed your time here. The beach here is a sandy bottom and we have spots of very shallow water in front of the resort - perfect spots for seeing bonefish swimming by. Thank you again for the review and we look forward...
