Hard to get a room here unless you book a long time in advance. We liked our room. There is a daily resort fee that covers breakfast though it's fairly spartan. Parking is tight. Pool was nice and warm.

We stayed in a garden room and liked the screened-in porch. The room was on the older side (bathroom and rug), but the beds were comfortable. There was a small fridge but it barely kept things cold. Cleanliness of the room was a B.The outdoor area was well kept and nice. I didn't like breakfast. Coffee was not good, and...

Nice little hotel. The pride of ownership is apparent. Let's be clear this place is not "posh". The rooms are a bit dated, but it is very clean and cost effective. We stayed in a nice villa for less than avg hotel room. Plenty of things to do on property. Would definitely go back.

We loved it! Our room had living room, fridge, microwave, jacuzzi, and great patio with view of the heated pool and ocean. We rode bikes or kayaked every day. The entire place was well maintained. Only negative was the breakfast was not that great. And you have to be aware of the $18 resort charge.

The bathroom was built in the sixties, complete with a rusted, and chipped disgusting bath tub. NO water pressure. The mattress had to be as old as the bathroom. Bumpy soft and old. I have had nicer bathrooms and a better mattress in $80. per night room. The noise from the highway is very loud. How this place can charge...

I was a little nervous based on the reviews however was pleasantly surprised. Our room was in the front near the office which appears to be the older part: however it was very clean and in good condition. The grounds were fantastic. 2 pools hot tub, great areas fit sitting around to see the stars over the water. Breakfast was...

Stayed 1 night at this hotel so we could be closer to Robbie's for some fishing early the next morning. It suited our needs for a place to crash. Staff was fine and no issues at check-in and check-out. No elevators so venturing up 3 flights of stairs to our room was tricky but fine. After we checked-in (just past...

Lots of paint peeling it was just a shabby place it was not as clean as I would like. We were on the second floor and the stairs were in such bad shape my wife was afraid to walk on the steps. Drain in shower did not drain. Window air conditional was over the front door so high there was...

This is an old Florida resort and I mean that in the best of terms. The resort is very spacious and the grounds are kept very nice. There are two pools and plenty of outdoor activities such as kayaking, paddleboats and catamaran. The room was nice with a nice patio that was screened in. Here are the only complaints that...

Third time we have stayed at Chesapeake. Once again had a great time. Resort staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Had an ocean view room which was very clean, comfortable, and a beautiful view. Enjoyed the kayaking and fishing off the resort as well. Great place can't wait to go back. Highly recommend it.
