First of all let's talk about the cleanliness... the rooms were impeccable and clean and they did a great job here. The resort is not represented by its pictures. It is a $99 a night hotel. Do not under any circumstances rent one of the houseboats. They are circa 1980s and beat up . The staff here however is excellent....

My girlfriend and I stayed at Smugglers Cove for 4 nights over an extended weekend in early March. We could not be happier with our stay. The room it self was incredibly clean and stocked with towels and other bathroom essentials. We had our dog so we asked that the house keeping staff stay away while we were away. Never...

This was a very affordable, relaxed, and fun place and they have entertainment. The room was clean and smelled great. There was a welcome drink and a delicious complementary breakfast and the staff was very gracious, the manager Chris went over and above to make us feel very comfortable we will continue to stay there whenever we are visiting that area.

Place is old, and dated. We wanted to cancel right away since it was not what we expected. The bar is loud and rooms are close, no pool and no swimming area and looks run down. We were so tires but were forced to listen to the lady "sing" when trying to sleep. When we were displeased with it and...

We stayed at the smugglers cove in march. This place is affordable with no over the top fancy accommodations, very clean and they didn't hit us with a bunch rules. they even let us fish off the dock. The restaurant/bar is good. Their chef ( Dave ) made it exceptional, best food by far in the keys. He cooked our...

There was mold on the walls, our door wouldn't lock, and their was no central AC, only a wall unit. The bathroom was so hot and disgusting. The price was almost $300 for a really crappy motel. It felt as if we were going to get robbed at any time. Super creepy.

This place is legendary. The staff makes you feel like you belong. From the moment I got there I was treated like family. David greeted us with enthusiasm and got us set up quickly even tho we were late to check in. Matthew showed us an amazing time both in the bar and even took some of us out on...

Hello again Kat!! We were all very happy to have you for your holiday stay! The fun and experience was great and we all learned a lot from your experiences as well, being from Sweden and all your travels. Maybe next time we'll get to meet your little princess as well! Look forward to next time and keeping in touch!...

I didn't expect a top notch place but when they say Resort, I expected a little more than a building that looked like low income housing. The room was spacious, but not modern. I kept telling myself housekeeping did the best with what they had to work with-but when we returned after spending the day fishing, housekeeping had opened the...

This place is not flashy, but it doesn't need to be! You are in paradise, this is a good and clean place to rest your head and keep your stuff safe. The staff was always helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great!

We will definitely be back to stay! Everyone was so friendly, that we felt like family. Everything you need is right there, with tons to do, and great food, that is very reasonably priced. The room was very clean, and accommodating, We will highly recommend to all our family and friends. Can't wait to go back!
