We will be back to fish another day. Great, quiet, secluded spot with great service. For its price point, you won't find a better spot for privacy and service. Fun little cottages with full kitchen, nice living space, and great porch out front. Friendly service...More
Loved this place . The cottage had everything we needed. Loved the views. We had breakfast every morning out on the porch and it was great. We had a grill and could have cooked out if we had wanted to. They thought of everything.
The staff at Pines and Palms were so accommodating. From helpful hints of places to put in our paddle boards to yummy pina coladas at the pool bar, everyone couldn't have been nicer. The truth is though, I won't stay here again. When we arrived...More
Pines and Palms in my opinion is the perfect getaway. Located on the ocean side the views are fantastic. The cottages are clean and comfortable and not packed together. All cottages have kitchens which is very nice to have. They will also bring you a...More

While I have not stayed here I have stayed at many places in the keys. There are not a lot of real beaches in the keys...each key is basically a rock in the water. If you want shelling the west coast of Florida, particularly Sanibel, would be the place. Most beaches are created by clearing rocks and dumping sand, then smoothing it out on a grade that gets deeper the farther it goes out. Walks on any beach in the keys would be a pleasure and sunsets are outrageous, particularly when you are equipped with a margarita!
