We visited in Jan/Feb for our vacation. The resort is looking good and the pool has just been renovated and looks great. The property was beautiful and well looked after. The resort in general was looking well maintained. The bonus of having a tennis court for all to use within the resort was an added bonus for us. We will be back
Rented a condo via Airbnb - 130 Pompano Beach Dr - and it was great. Our own Hot Tub/Spa that worked and was well maintained. Ian was very responsive, and Terra Verde is a great place to stay ... Monica at the Club House was very friendly and helpful. Safe, secure - 24/7 guard at gated community. Been going there since 2012 ... it is our FL home a way from home.
If your goal is a place to stay and you plan to venture out most of the day this will suffice. However, if looking for a home away from home and a place to just relax this is not it. The property management company was responsive and helpful but changed me to this property after another was sold. it is supposed to be of same quality and it is not. Shame on you Villa Direct. Terra Verde itself is a very nice resort- this property is NOT. This property is old, furniture is old. walked in and the hanging blinds used for windows and slider-several were laying on the floor with open gaps. TVs did not work, and maintenance did come only to confirm- yes they dont work and need to be replaced. Master bedroom TV had a DVD Player attached to the TV, put a DVD in and it screamed until the TV went blue. So again no solution. The mattresses were SUPER THIN and creaked when you moved or breathed. it was just awful. there were marks on the walls- it just seemed old and musty. they provided 2 wash clothes and 2 towels per bathroom- thats all you got! they do offer early check in for 35 dollars per hour. would i stay here again- absolutely not.…
We stayed here for 10days during the UK Easter holidays. The villa we stayed in was very nice and spacious, although some amenities that were advertised weren’t available in the villa (didn’t work). The complex is beautiful and clean, the gym is very small and the one upper body weight multi gym was out of use. The track around the lake is great for running around. We had a lovely stay.
I had this house from the 3rd to the 9th and they reached out to me and asked if I wanted heated pool so I said yea. So I had to pay an extra $180 something dollars and not anytime while I was down there was the pool heated the water was very cold and I assured my guests that I paid for heated pool but the pool was never warm and for that reason I give this house 1 star.
I am giving this home a three because of the value of the home and amenities verses what you pay. My friends and I stayed in OV home 971 for three days. We had a six bedroom, five bathroom home with pool and spa for approx $300 per night. This is a good deal. However, the experience goes down from there. The number one complaint is the cleanliness of the home. And being that they charge a $135 cleaning fee, it is a shame. When I entered my bedroom, I could immediately see that the floor had not been vacuumed. There was hair in the bathroom soak tub. The linens all throughout look like they have been in use for years. The kitchen chairs and steps leading upstairs are horrific. My next complaint is that I paid to have the pool and spa heated. We did not have heat on the first day. I contacted the number provided and spoke to Susan who said she had to confirm that I ordered the heat and that my payment information had been submitted. I told her, they already charged my card and she kept trying to tell me that they usually don't charge for the pool heat until the tenant checks out. Which was not my case. She told me to give her time to verify everything and contact her in the morning and someone would be out to turn the heat on. She also assured me that they would reimburse me for one day of heating. I called her the next morning and it was just like we never spoke. I had to refresh her memory about everything we discussed the night before. She told me to call back Monday and speak to management about the reimbursement. She told me to call the same number I used to reach her. However, she seems to be the only one who answers that number, because when I initially tried to order the heat, I called for two days and it kept going to voicemail, which the recorded message sounds like her voice. No one else ever answers that phone but her. Needless to say, I NEVER receive a return call. The only way I was able to get results it by contacting DeeDee. Dee Dee works with reservations and is the only one who I can say something positive about. I have been working with Dee Dee since my first stay in 2019. She is prompt, efficient, & she returns phone calls and emails. She responds to you 7 days a week day or night. I actually wonder if she ever takes any time off. Anyhow, I called Dee Dee and told her I was having trouble contacting someone about the heat, and she walked right over to Susan's office and got it set up. It really sounds like a 2 person office situation and Dee Dee is the only one who can be relied on. To summarize it all, it would be a great stay and bargain if the homes held higher cleaning standards and if they replace worn and stained furniture and bedding as needed. I see that the resort has great reviews and I wish I could have given a higher review. But, the cleanliness, which is my pet peeve, is a huge issue for me. I experienced the same issues with cleanliness my first stay, but it was a different resort and a different home, so I was hoping for a better experience. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. 4772 Vero Beach Place, booked for 2 weeks. Roaches in the kitchen, management did not believe us. After a day they came out saying they were going to spray and all they did is throw a couple roach traps under the sink saying they saw no evidence?!?! I then reached out to the owners of the unit we are in and at first they acted appalled and reached out to the property management company. The management company came back out and I showed them the roach droppings in the cabinets. They then just used some consumer grade roach spray on the island. Said leave it for a couple hours then clean it up! Needless to say when we got back there were roaches everywhere in the kitchen. This time we were able to get video and killed some to show them as PROOF. They promised to move us into another unit a day ago and nothing. The pool had White Water Mold all thru the water and we were unable to use the pool until a week in after they finally got a pool person out to clean it. Not to mention the green algae and the mulch on the bottom of the pool. Blankets in one room had what I hope to god was drool stains all over it. Now the owners of the unit and the property management company are ignoring our calls. Please do yourself a favor and never stay here. Almost 2 grand spent to live in a roach infested unit for 2 weeks.…
This is our third visit to this resort and, as usual, it was a great visit. Our rented villa had 7 bedrooms which allows even the largest family to have space. The pool at the villa was superb. It was clean, warm and just outside the french doors. The resort itself, is beautiful with loads of facilities such as a huge heated pool, hot tub, basketball hoops, tennis courts, mini golf, a small movie theater, an exercise room, meeting room, amusement room and a tiki bar. The resort is highly recommended.
This resort is a 5 star resort and I can see why. They have wonderful amenities such as tiki bar next to the pool! A workout room in case you celebrated and enjoyed the treasures of the Disney area and needed to feel like getting in a good workout. They have a large game room, movie theatre, volleyball, basketball and so much more. The vacation rental homes in this resort are fabulous! Most with private pool and spa. Everyone there makes you feel like family! Love it there! I wouldn't vacation anywhere else when I'm in that memorable area of the states
We stayed at 158 Hideaway Beach Lane and the accomodations were lovely. The home was spacious, clean, plenty of linens, kitchen items and sleeping accomodations for us and more. We will definitely return. I gave 4 stars for sleep quality because i prefer a firmer mattress than what was provided. My family had no troubles with sleep.
