As handicaped, I asked for a smoking room in the ground floor, knowing that generally acessible rooms are not smoking. But they gave me a room in the "first" floor which could be reached climbing a stair... The ramp was in the corner of the building and they didn't have no bars in restroom. The "cleaning" ladies apeared in the afternoon asking what stuff we wanted (soap, tissue, etc) Cleaning, no way. We stayed two weeks and no chage of sheets was made. But the big problem was when something stoped to work: the computer, the printer, the ice machines... During the two weeks nothing was fixed. Some coackroaches also shared the room. And the room was too dark, few lights, we had to buy luminaries. But location is very good, the rate I got also nice (although charging for fee resort with no mantainence...)

Room Tip: I believe that rooms by the pool may be better, at least you can seat outside.

I stayed 3 nights in the junior kids suite.

The room was clean but severely outdated. With that being said the following is what I had experienced.

There was a spot in the kids room that should be repaired where the carpet fell off under a bed. There are nails exposed and sticking out and could puncture someone.

The bathroom curtain was installed to close to the inside of the tub so it sticks to you when you shower. As per usual in any hotel I've stayed, the drain was plugged with hair.

There were 2 tv's - the same brand and model so the remotes controlled each other and was quite frustrating.

There is a hot tub and a couple of pools. Those areas appeared clean and well kept.

The cafe with breakfast buffet was not good. You can get eggs cooked any way you want which is good but everything else was overcooked. Suggest going elsewhere for breakfast.

Overall was good for the price. Would like to see some updates but would stay again.

I must begin this review with saying it’s not the worse place I’ve been to. Upon arrival the representative checking me in was very nice and explained everything about the hotel. There was a line to check in but there were 3 people doing check ins. When we go to the room it was in the back of the hotel and it looked very weird almost as if construction were happening. The room had a terrible old smell. I sprayed Lysol and it was better. The room was old and outdated Definitely needs some improvements. Chipped paint on walls, old rusty spots on the wall, chipped wall tiles, broken door lock, poor lighting. But to be honest for $36 a night I paid i wasn’t expecting updates. The maintenance man was very nice and polite he had to come and replace my microwave because it was broken and my hairdryer. He bought me a new microwave and fixed the hair dryer. The bathtub water was SUPER hot. No need to worry there’s plenty of hot water. The air conditioner was SUPER cold. You won’t be hot that’s for sure. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I visited the gym its also old and the machines are not the best. I worked out 3 days and it wasn’t the worse. But they do need new equipment. There’s a treadmill and a bike. If your looking for a place to sleep after going to the parks and you don’t mind zero updates then why not stay here. But if your one of those people that’s super meticulous then find another hotel. I must say that the room was CLEAN. I always bring Lysol spray and wipes. I sprayed everywhere and with Lysol wipes cleaned the furniture tops, floor, toilet and counter tops and not a bit of dirt. I didn’t see any roaches (some reviews I had read said there were roaches). There’s also a pool open from 8am-12midnight. the pictures are the room as we entered.

I booked for 2 days 3 nights 4th of July weekend and while the rooms cleanliness left something to be desired. I was prepared with disinfectant, bleach and pinesol as I am aware of " you get what you pay for". I was on Saturday 07/04/20 at around 2:30 am that I was startled by 2 drunk women in my room. Apparently they had advised security they left their key and needed to enter. Security opened the door and allowed them to enter however, this wasn't their room. I attempted to contact someone but no one available until next day. As I checked out I was advised the GM Luis Gonzalez would call. I spoke to GM and initially he mentioned he had credited me a day for the inconvenience and stated the security person was new...he did say that's not an excuse but he will be spoken to. I wen t to explain that that situation could have turned really bad as he replied , What else you want me to do? I already gave you credit for 1 day. It wasn't the money it was the issue at hand...they let a complete stranger in a room they did not belong in. Many different scenarios could have played out. He sent an apology email and refunded the full amount of my stay. This again is irrelevant. I advise DO NOT BOOK HERE. Eileen C.

This place is a deplorable resort to even consider bringing your family for vacation. I saw The photos online and knew it was in need of decor reno’s. That's didn’t bother me it was just a short two day getaway trip. However, I did not expect to go to a place to be CLEAN and things to be at least in working order. It was totally disgusting, feces on the bathroom walls, broken beds, bugs, and dirty bed linens and the grounds filthy and rundown, not cared for at all. ( and just think he just got bailout money in the millions and didn't take care of his moneymaker) If you booked a reservation cancel it and spend the extra dime for at least decent and if you must bring lotd of tools and cleaning supplies because you are going to need them.... Sorry, but not sorry for telling the truth. It's not a resort it a welfare hotel.

This place has drastically declined in the 5 years since my last stay. The restaurant is no longer open and the fast food grill his a fraction of its former self.
Our first room was appalling we arrived at 2am after travelling 26 hours and just got to sleep. Next morning we requested a change of room. Mercedes on reception was really helpful and we changed rooms after being given a choice.
This room was basic but the A/C worked fine, hot water in the shower, toilet worked as did the TVs and microwave, decent wifi in room too. The bed was comfy
Didn't see any roaches or bugs as previous people have mentioned, though the rubbish some people left in their rooms probably didn't help, with the cleaners removing waste fast food regularly.
The back pool was clean and quiet with some new beds, the pool with the tiki bar was busy and lively.
The location excellent for the lynx bus to Disney and the old town attractions next door earn the extra star
With some proper investment, rooms painted, re carpeted or laminates put in, decent wardrobes and the shower and washbasins spruced up this could be a great hotel and location, if they invest 1K per room they could easily double the room rates, and get the place up to its old standards and gain more customers and better reviews.
This was cheap and cheerful for us and served its purpose, you get what you pay for , but it's a shame the places potential is not being met.

We stay here several times a year. This was the second time so far we've been able to stay. When we stayed in May it was not the best as usual but due to the Covid 19 we understood the precautions they carried out. The only bad part was both hot tubs were shut down but the pools are heated so it was tolerable. This stay we had in July was better as at least one hot tub was working. A little daily cleaning to our room was fine with me as I knew it was cleaned and disinfected. I love coming here as it is my place to go for a quick relaxing weekend or more. Great for couples and families to get away at a reasonable price.

The female manager who worked Thurs night 1/16 was very rude. We called hotel on Wed night 1/15 and spoke to a male employee to tell him we were going to be one day late for our reservation but would be arriving the next night to stay the other two days of our reservation. He said that is fine and he would put a note in the reservation so we don't have a problem when we arrive the next night. When we arrived the next night the female manager said reservation was cancelled because we did not show up first night of reservation. I explained that I called day before and spoke to an employee who said it was fine and would make note in reservation. I did not have name of employee I spoke to. She said I was not told that because hotel does not do that. I told her I spoke to male employee and told her around what time I called. She again said hotel does not do that. I told her that is a problem with the employee because he should not have said it was OK if that is against hotel policy. I told her employee should have told me they can not do that and employee should have told me if I did not show up first night the reservation would be cancelled. She was acting as if I was lying and did not try to help me at all. When booking website called hotel manager to try to resolve situation they found out the hotel was overbooked so did not have any rooms available. It seems that they overbooked more reservations than they have rooms and that is the reason my reservation was cancelled because it was prepaid so they already had payment for my reservation and then booked room to someone else so they made double money on the same room. Very rude manager and no customer service. In November, I went to Rome and was going to arrive one day later than the hotel reservation I had made. I called hotel and told them we would be there one day late and it was no problem at all. They had room ready for us the day we came.

We stayed at the hotel for our recent trip to disneyworld. Yes, the hotel is older and outdated. We knew this going in. But the rooms were clean, plus cleaned and put together everyday if needed! If we had an issue, we spoke with housekeeping (like when my daughter got sick one night from her bottle), and they took care of everything, no issues. The front desk took care of everything needed for us, and were super polite! There was an issue with the hotel computer, and the front desk immediately helped us print our tickets to the parks. no problems, no questions asked. Maria, at the food court, was beyond nice! She was so sweet to myself and my family, and made us truly feel welcome every time she saw us. The pool and bar outside, was right outside of our room, but not too loud at night, as we couldnt hear any noise once we were in our room (just our neighbors occasionally or someone walking by if they were talking), and close enough that we felt comfortable sitting by the pool to have a drink after the kids fell asleep, as we were just 15 feet from our door. For being an older hotel, the walls were not paper thin (which I'm sure was best for our neighbors vs us with the 3 kids lol). We felt safe and comfortable. There were shuttles to some of the parks, mostly universal parks, but we ended up not using them bc the pricing of the hotel was so budget friendly, that we were able to use ride share for around $13 and under, each way, for an XL. It was more convienent than paying for parking at the parks, for around the same price. Most of all out of this entire review, please understand, the service at the hotel from each and every person who worked there, made our entire trip and is what makes this review 5stars. The hotel itself was an ok hotel.A 3 star hotel. It's old.Its outdated. Expect that. Dont expect an embassy suites. Expect a large budget hotel from the early 90s, 80s. Its clean, it has everything you need on site. The service though. The service outbeats everything else and is what will make us return! The service was better than what we received at some of many 4-5star hotels we have stayed at.

I stayed here because I was transferring for work and needed a hotel that was a good price and was close to a variety of restaurants. It also needed to be close to my new job and was going to be long term, as I was looking for a house. This was NOT what I was expecting based on pictures. The room was run down, shabby, felt damp, and smelled musty. The bathroom door didn’t even shut all the way, because the bottom part of the door jam was so rusted the door/hinge was actually separating from the wall. There were holes in the wall, one light didn’t work, and there was rust/mold on all of the doors. Also they charge you a security deposit that I didn’t even see anything about until I checked in, then I noticed it in the very fine print of my email, nothing on the website. In my case it was $100, which they call a “hold” when they charge u. I’ve had holds for hotels, holds don’t charge u the actual money. Time will tell if I get a refund but I’m not holding my breath. No “do not disturb sign” had to make my own. I had to do that because some of the housekeeping were very persistent about whether or not I wanted towels. I work overnight so sleep during the day. A lot of the time they would just lightly knock say “housekeeping” then move along. However two of them pounded on the door until I finally answered, then just looked at me like I was crazy because I was irritated. Only good thing I can say is place was clean and no bugs. Just don’t waste your money, I’ve stayed at campgrounds in better condition.
