My wife and I have stayed here a few times and have been very pleased. The staff is always helpful and courteous. The sites are clean and well kept. Any time we are in the area we seek out this park and always recommend it to our friends. Phil and Sharon Truitt

Thanks very much for your comments Phil and Sharon. The staff works hard to keep the park in good shape (which can be a challenge in summer weather) and make guests happy. They will be thrilled with your public praise. Thank you. Michael More

We stayed at Thousand Palms Resort from Nov 1st, 2015 until May 1st, 2016. We had just retired and picked this campground from the internet. It turned out to be the most WONDERFUL 6 months we could have spent in Florida. Plenty of activities to do and wonderful people. This is a first class resort and we would recommend it... More

Summary: though the facilities are a little dated, the Thousand Palms Resort more than makes up for this with a great and friendly staff and the best bathrooms I've ever seen at an RV Resort. The facilities are geared towards older people and the fitness room & Wi-Fi leave a lot to be desired. However, each of the buildings we... More

I came to the campground as a place to stay while enjoying bike riding on the nearby Withlacoochee State Trail in Inverness. The manager and staff are awesome, they have many activities that they warmly invited me to join. The best of all was a farewell party for a couple that was retiring, I was again invited, the food was... More

Thousand Palms Resort Please accept this correspondence as a thankyou for the wonderful 2 weeks that we just spent at your park. We stayed March 1-14th, and were very pleased with everything. Check in was smooth and our large site by the pond was great. I was able to participate in several activities organized within the park. The clubhouse, pool... More

We stayed here over the President's Day weekend and had a blast! Mike, the owner, was extremely helpful and friendly, as were the other workers and residents. Even though we are not retired yet, we enjoyed our stay here, and we highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a fun camping experience.

The checkin went smooth and fast, very friendly... we meet our Camp Host Jack which drove us around in his golf cart until we found the perfect spot... once we got settled in Jack stopped by to greet us and to see if every thing was OK and if we... Cathy and I enjoyed our stay, Michael was a good host, I would have loved to work camp there but it wasn't meant to be. For a vacation, you won't find nicer people! Nice pool and big rv spots also! The Harvey's

Our first trip to this part of Florida - and we live only an hour away. Will definitely come back! The pool was clean, the brand-new renovated bathrooms were the best I've seen at any campground in years. Everyone was friendly and welcoming from the beginning - including the "local" permanent snowbirds who helped with the firewood and fire ring.... More

This is my fourth season here. I can not imagine staying anywhere else, having previously camped at numerous parks in Florida. Absolutely love the natural setting, the peace and quiet, the activities. But most of all the other campers who have become my winter family.
