Only immigrants would have the hope and inspiration to breathe new life into the dying remnant of Americana know as the "motel". The Polish husband and wife team live on the premises, and tend to the property meticulously. My room was very clean with new tile and marble surfaces, a catchy accent wall, and nice furnishings. My room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable queen bed, and the funny little towels and tiny bar of soap that mark this genre of the hotel industry. The flat screen TV had plenty of channels, and there were ample outlets to charge my electronics, along with free wifi. I stayed for one night and was glad the 4 and 5 star hotels that I normally frequent were all priced absurdly high on the short notice I could give-- glad because it's good for me to return every few years to the small independent motel scene. Situated on the main drag with nothing of interest nearby, it's only a 5 minute drive to the thriving Lake Worth town center with its myriad of restaurants, cafes, shops and lakeside park. The motel was nicely landscaped and the white sound of the little fountain was pleasant. I felt safe and secure. I am very glad this place exists and would stay here again.

Very clean, well maintained small motel. Garden sitting area and plantings very well done. No amenities (e.g. ice, breakfast, room). Sparse but very European and functional. Price extraordinary for the area. Pleasant owners.

Stayed there one night. The staff was nice and friendly. Gave us a good rate for our stay. But.....it was kinda scary....unsafe feeling in the area . The room is ok, the location is nice. Liked it overall.

would like to let everyone to know do not stay in this motel they say they are pet friendly well there pet friendly is only one room... would never stay in this place.....they was a room available but was not the one and only pet friendly room that they have..........

One among oher motels along Dixie Hwy.Location was OK. Friendly people in charge. There is a pool and they keep the dogs in the pool area. No breakfast.

Very basic accommodations but nicely appointed room. Soap and towels provided. No shampoo or blow dryer but probably could have obtained blow dryer if I asked. Tile floor makes it very easy for housekeeping to keep clean. My wife and I travel with our own slippers so this was not an issue. Door lock a little difficult to operate (Room 102) but it worked. Somewhat noisy over night from car alarm and other sounds outside our room. Curtain was adequate but only marginally so. That is, it just barely covered the entire window. More lighting in the room would have been nice.

We were in need of a hotel in Lake Worth and checked Tripadvisor for some possibilities. First of all Lake Worth is a tough place to find a good reasonably priced hotel. The Lago Motor Inn was priced correctly, clean, and well run. Also for a motel on Dixie Hwy it was very cute and had a nice garden motif. We were very impressed and would stay there again.
There were some things we missed like a coffee maker in the room, but for the price it was a good experience.

Stopped here because West Palm Beach Hotels were booked; very pleasant, very clean and very reasonable; thumbs up! I ended up staying for four nights. The woman in charge was amicable and the room, for about $80, was a great value for the area and time of the year. I highly recommend Lago to anyone who is budget consciuous. Also, there were some very good restaurants (Zagat rated) nearby.

Nice place especially for a motel with a lot of decorations, lights and a couple of water fountains outside that makes it look cute.
Room was very clean, spacious with a comfortable bed.

Very old hotel. Bare bones but it was clean. Very bad area. Once I was in room wouldn’t dare go out.
Light in bathroom didn’t work. Owner was not very friendly. Should be priced around $60-80 in my opinion. I paid $120. I would not go back.
