We spent four delightful days at this location, just steps away from the ocean and pier. Hotel staff were extremely helpful. One little hiccup was handled by the front desk & management in a thoughtful and efficient manner. We would recommend this place to anyone who would like to enjoy the ocean, while having the privacy of a private space.

We just returned from our 5 night stay at the windjammer. The accommodations were fine; however it was very clear that the "owners" of timesharers as I like to call them at windjammer are not very welcoming. My kids were not welcomed at the pool and you had to get up very early in the morning if you wanted to... More

I was very fortunate to have snuck in when someone cancelled their room last minute. This was a last minute getaway and I have to say it was outstanding. The rooms are very quaint and very very clean. The entire staff starting with Francine, Shanise and Jimmy in the front to the cleaning crew were fantastic. The location is perfect... More

Windjammer is essentially an old motel that has been renovated into various sized apartments. We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit, which was quite cramped. There is a tiny elevator to get from one floor to the other inside the unit. The downstairs had 2 bedrooms and a small bathroom. Take the elevator up and you have a kitchen, living room... More

This was a great spot in Lauderdale by the Sea! Literally footsteps to the beach. The staff was very helpful and sweet. The rooms are spotless and comfy. They also have a local can driver Martin who works with the resort and offers discounts specifically for a The Windjammer patrons. Thanks for a memorable stay!!!

Stayed here over the MLK weekend with a large group for a surprise 60th birthday party. Everyone raved about their rooms or should I say mini apartments. Most rooms had king size beds , a nice kitchenette , large bathroom and a roomy living room / dining area including table and four chairs. The units were super clean , daily... More

I live a half hour from the beach. I have been to most south florida beaches. Lauderdale by the Sea was a hidden gem till recently. Once you drive over the bridge from mainland onto this little beach city, you see lots of new beach themed art. There are many little restaurants, bars, icecream... right by the pier. All of... Without question this is the most unorthodox accommodation that I've ever stayed. Location is everything. First the layout. Two buildings run perpendicular to the road with a couple of end units facing the ocean. Each building is serviced by a pool area complete with new Weber BBQ. Pool areas are quaint with an east facing fence offering privacy and shelter... More

Just returned from a visiting week in Florida and was really impressed with the Windjammer. We booked late and reserved the last available room, which was a studio overlooking the pool for two nights. We had planned to travel to the West Coast but decided to stay in the area - luckily room #9 was available for the remainder of... More
