Very nice place. Quiet , friendly and nice sites. I will go back again and again ! Nice clubhouse , lots of activities going on all the time. This resort is set back from the road. It's very quiet. Nice place to relax.

This is our 2nd visit and we love the place. Quiet, pretty, nice people. They are remodeling the restrooms and laundry too. They have good activities. They just need wireless and good cable!!! The cable is spotty. Nice place to retire.

Best RV spot in Florida...Lots to do , great trees, and the friendliest people, they really care. We were there fro Leesburg bikefest 4 days of motorcycles... and they were fantastic to all of us. They had breakfast ready every morning and the ladies all dressed in biker gear just to make us feel at home. Considering we didn't get...

We planned to stay a month. Stayed 3! Great staff, friendly residents, lots to do. Indoor pool and spa, outdoor pool, card games every night, tennis, pickle ball, etc. Also lots of residents volunteer and teach computer skills, euchre, bridge, tennis, line dancing etc. We'll be back next year!

This place is expensive if you pay nightly ($50, which doesn't include cable or internet). Your only real option is to stay monthly. We stayed a month, then wanted to extend our trip by just a few days. They absolutely refused to give us an even slightly discounted rate even though we could have easily continued paying the electricity and...

Booked a two week stay but upon arrival at this lovely park we immediately extended to a month. Have not found any other park to date with so many amenities or such friendly residents and staff. We used the large heated indoor pool and hot tub everyday. I rode my bike every morning and eve and always found new roads...

My husband and I are visiting his mother here at the Holiday Travel Resort. The people living, or wintering, here are among the most friendly folks I've ever met. There are so many activities and we've been encouraged to join right in. Bridge and other card games are organized several times a week, and we were encouraged to play our...

Another adventure landed us in Holiday Travel Resort. Good central Florida location. The park is more of a 50+ community than a campground, but the staff and residents make you feel welcome. They have paved roads, staffed gated entrance, pull-thru sites and can accommodate big rigs : ). There is also a marina that provides access to Lake Harris. Great...

We stayed there during the Leesburg Bikefest. Very large, some campsite on an incline--but workable. Indoor adults only pool and spa, outdoor pool, on property restaurant serving breakfast and lunch (reasonable and good), tennis courts, shuffle board, bingo. Quite a few residents, but plenty of room for week/weekend campers. Call them for pricing (varies on time of year). Enjoyed our...

Started our pilgrimage to the sun this spring in January and picked Holiday Travel Resort based on the description in Woodall's. We originally booked a week planning to be gypsy's and travel across the southern US for the next 3 months. That did not happen. After our first week we were so enamoured with the resort we booked a month...

“A wide selection of RV sites from fully treed to full sun. Watch out for the trees or you could spend your winter raking instead of shovelling. On the other hand the shade was great.”
