We stayed there at our last night of the quilotoa loop, cause we were told that it was ok and food was good.room was really big, with two comfy beds and enough plankets for cold nights. It was also nice to have an oven there.hot water was working but not for all of our group-had to ask a few times. Common area...

This was our last night on the Quilotoa Loop and was no where as good as other places on the loop. It has good wifi and comfortable beds. However, that's about all that is good about this place. If the owners put some effort in, they could make it great, but right now it's cold, damp and lifeless. It feels...

We made the mistake of parking here, before entering Quilotoa (the entrance in which you have to pay is a few steps away from this hostal." We booked a room for one night. The place is ok, but the places inside are much nicer. Best to pay the entrance and look for lodging next to the Quilotoa! This hostal is...

Not sure if there is better around at Quilotoa but expect basic rooms, food and service. All ok for one night. Doors didn't close easily, one of the beds broke down and dinner was Ecuadorian style but simple. Also service is poor and you need to ask yourself and twice. All ok for one night and not sure there is...

This is the first hostal as you approach town. There are not many options, but I wish I would have explored them. I asked to see a room, which was better looking than I expected. The owner told me it was $15 per person without food, $25 per person with dinner and breakfast included. I wasn't interested, so she asked...

Stayed here for two nights during the Quilotoa loop hike. Beds were warm and comfortable and small wood stove in the room was lit before bed. Staff were lovely. No wifi. Food was good. Communal meals and fireplace lead to the exchanging of stories and games with other travelers.

I ate here as Hostal Cabañas Quilotoa had outsourced its dinner and breakfast (which comes with the rooms) to the Alpaka (with a "k" btw). Dinner was simply not worth it. We were 30-40 guests and they couldn't cope nor did they seem to try. Either have rice, then potatoes, then veggies or all together but cold. Want something to...

we had a huge "double" room with 4 beds to ourselves with an oven to Keep us warm in the night. The prize included the room, breakfast and dinner, which were all very good and plenty! also, they offer free tea or filtered water anytime of the day and there are always friendly people around (from the whole town) to...

We spent 2 nights here. Friendly helpful staff and clean rooms with cosy wood stoves being lit for you in the evening. After having warmed up with hot tea sitting around one of the bigger stoves in the "lobby" an abundant dinner is being served at a long table. If you haven't done so before, you, without a doubt, will...

This is a bit overdo, but I stayed here in early August. The staff was wonderful. The dinner and breakfast was definitely a highlight. It gets really cold at night, so make sure you've packed layers. The stoves in the room help, but I was still quite cold. Would recommend!
