Entente Cordiale Inn

Certificate of Excellence
Located on 7 acres of secluded beachfront property just 25 kilometers (15 miles) north of Gros Morne National Park, Entente Cordiale is a 4-star heritage-style B&B with modern utilities and traditional decor. We are renowned for clean rooms and low prices, in a scenic and relaxing maritime setting. Watch the sun set into the Gulf of St. Lawrence while savouring a fresh seafood dinner in our licensed dining room, roast wieners and marshmallows over a fire on the shore, and enjoy a morning stroll on a sandy beach before a hearty breakfast of homemade breads, jams and more. View the northern limit of the Appalachian mountains and the nearby Arches natural scenic attraction, or fish for Atlantic salmon on a river named by the famed explorer Captain James Cook. Or use our central location as a base for your exploration of Newfoundland's Great Northern Peninsula, from Gros Morne National Park to the UNESCO World Heritage Site at L'Anse aux Meadows, the Vinland of Viking lore.

My husband and I booked dinner and a one-night stay on our way back from St. Anthony, but I wish we had stayed here longer. The home-cooked meal was just what we needed. Delicious. We watched the waves roll in as we dined. Next time...More

Most people would consider $22 Canadian for a scallop dinner with fresh vegetables, coleslaw, garden salad in side bowl, fresh homemade roll and tea or coffee a pretty good price.

This is a clean, quiet, friendly B&B close to Gros Morne national park. It is on the beach with an excellent ocean view. We recommend eating dinner there because it is good and you do not have to drive anywhere and risk a moose hit.

I was also a guest. I know that they have a room with a single and a double. Give them a call as previous response suggested. It is a great spot.

Hi, I think we had a queen size bd but most of the places we stayed had rooms with twin beds as well. Ask them. Sorry but don't remember the rates. But remember the experience. We'd stay there again.
