We (3) were staying in Marco for just a couple of days and found it impossible to find accommodations that did not require at least a week stay (it was over spring break). A search of tripadvisor turned up this little gem that accommodated our short stay of three days. Our very clean and updated room consisted of a small...

I'm delighted you enjoyed the hotel- sorry the lake is a tad small- it does have some fascinating wildlife though!

Nicely decorated room, clean (except for a large carpet stain) very comfortable bed. Bathroom was very clean (except no shelf to put a cosmetic bag on) . Will stay here again.

This carpet will be cleaned on April 14th. And thank you for your comments on the lack of a place for your cosmetic bag- these bathrooms have just been totally remodeled and that is something we missed. Marcia

The inn was excellent . We were pleasantly surprised. It was quiet, clean and very well maintained. I could tell the owners put a lot of work into the property. The pool was nice too and an extra touch was that it was heated. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was so much nicer than a chain hotel...

We have stayed at Lakeside Inn for three years. We just returned from another great stay, and love all the work the new owners have done on the property. We rent a one-bedroom suite (#108), and love the well-stocked kitchen, coziness of the suite and the screened-in back porch which overlooks a small lake. We have seen much wildlife throughout...

The inn itself is in a lovely setting, very clean and a helpful staff. Our room was a one bedroom unit (room 104). It was impossible to sleep in the bedroom due to the noise from multi - condenser units either right outside the window, on the porch above or from the pool. At the rate charge, I was amazed...

Mich, I am so sorry we disappointed you. I made it a point totally turn off the air conditioner condenser you were referring to in the pool area every single night after you mentioned it to me the second day you were here . I hadn't realized the guest's compressor on the abovet floor porch disturbed you. If I had,...

This was our first stay on Marco Island. Even though we thought the island itself was crowded and full of high rise condos we certainly did enjoy lakeside inn. We had a one bedroom unit. It had everything we needed. We especially liked that they gave you coffee packets. It was very clean and Marcia was lovely. The pool is...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Marco Island Lakeside inn and it is a very nice place and the staff are very nice and helpful. When we come back we will stay here again if possible. It is very quiet and enjoyable to stay here. Really liked it.

This inn is not on the beaten path, but worth finding out about. Our one bedroom suite faced the lake and was right next to the pool. A full kitchen, including a full-size fridge with about everything you would hope for, it was ideal for prepping lunch before we headed on to our next venue. The rooms were absolutely spotless,...

We really like this place. In fact this is the fourth time we have stayed there. Removed from the mainstream but close enough to ride our bikes to shopping, eating ice cream, the grocery store, post office, drug store, thrift stores and grandchildren.

The Inn and Staff are Delightful! We have stayed at the Marco Island Lakeside Inn every February for many years. We come for an annual conference and stay longer each year extending our vacation here. We have always loved the charming décor of the inn- it feels so homey and is always impeccably clean as well as kept in good...
