The hotel was clean. There is some construction going on, but it wasn’t loud and didn’t seem to bother anyone. The lobby was nice. We had a double queen room with a balcony. We had a nice view of the ocean. The pool was nice, but a bit small. The hotel is directly on the beach and has an easy access and two places to wash off the sand. They have full size shampoo/conditioner, body wash and soaps in the rooms which was a nice touch.
There was a bar/grill (Longboards) attached to the hotel with a gorgeous beach view. The drinks were decent and a bit overpriced. There was barely any alcohol in them. They had quite a bit to choose from on the menu. We enjoyed everything we got during the 3-4 times we ate there. Asli was our favorite waitress. She was perky and knowledgeable about the menu.
Three things we hated about the hotel was the parking, the lack of beach chairs and the beach towels. The parking is pricy and is not included in the stay. It was across the road and was a pain. There were no beach chairs for hotel guests on the beach. We flew in and didn’t have any. We could have rented them for $45 per day, but would have had to double that cost because there were three of us. We ended up going to Walmart and buying three cheap beach chairs. We donated them to the housekeeper when we checked out. The beach towels were basically the size of hand towels. I get it, because I’m sure people steal them, but surely there is a way of preventing that and making sure people have full sized towels.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. We would go back to the area and would stay here again.

I had a wonderful experience at the Crown Plaza in Melbourne, FL. The facilities were impeccable. My room had a breathtaking ocean view and the morning breakfast was amazing. Shout out to Persio Tineo and Janeth for their service and going above and beyond to offer me the best experience. I will for sure visit this location again and highly recommend it if you are planning to stay in the area.

I would have given this 3.5 stars if able to. The room itself is comfortable and updated, as is the lobby. I was on the 2nd floor oceanfront and had a view of the ocean, though somewhat obstructed by the outdoor stage. My room had a balcony with two chairs and a small table that we enjoyed (in between the storms and rain). All staff I encountered were really nice. The exterior of the hotel and corridors and room doors need some major attention, they were rusty, peeling paint, dirty, rundown and the room door was stuck and hard to open and close. Really bad first impression. The air conditioner in the room was really loud. Valet parking is expensive at $20 a night, with no option to self park, the valet staff was quick and efficient though. The restaurant, Longboards, was decent and service was with a smile, the menu was very heavy on seafood options. The pool looked really lively and packed and there was a fun band playing on the outdoor stage. It looked like there was beach chair service available, but I wasn't able to partake due to poor weather. I'd maybe return for a quick getaway, but I'd also be just as likely to try another hotel in the area too.

Hotel itself was nice, adequate. Rooms were spacious, bathroom was average.
Forced valet service was irritating and is a dealbreaker for future visits. I do not want to pay an extra $20 on top of my nightly rate so that I can wait for my car to be delivered and then be expected to tip for the privilege of being forced into this. Cars aren’t even stored onsite, but are rather across the street next to a fire station.
Room did not get cleaned from Wednesday to Saturday. We were out of the room pretty consistently, and even hung the sign up asking for it to be cleaned two days in a row before it was cleaned. From then on it wasn’t an issue.
What was an issue was that housekeeping would leave 2 towels for 4 people, no hand towels, sometimes no bath towels, no toilet paper, did not refill bath gel for two days, etc. Getting necessary room items required us to either locate a member of housekeeping on our own or call the desk repeatedly.
The Starbucks and Gelato area was a nice touch.
The pool was clean, and easily accessible.
Beach access was easy, but if you don’t show up early (8am) then the hotel will fill the bulk of the nice beach spots with chairs and umbrellas that they want you to rent for another $40/day.
Longboards, the restaurant onsite, was fantastic. Fairly priced, good service, incredibly good staff. Cannot speak more highly of them.
All in all, we’ll definitely be back to the area but will not be staying at the Crowne Plaza again, due to the forced valet and constant housekeeping issues.

I do want to apologize for any inconvenience regarding our valet parking service. The safety of our guests is our highest priority which is what drives our parking policy since most of our parking is across Hwy. A1A. We have reduced the fee to be comparable to other oceanfront properties in the area that charge similar "resort fee's" or self parking fees. Tipping is never expected but is of course always appreciated. I would also like to apologize for the housekeeping issues you have mentioned. What you've described is certainly not the level of service that we would like to provide. We will be sharing your feedback with our housekeeping team to ensure this type of situation does not occur in the future. We haven't stayed at such a beautiful place since our honeymoon in the Domican. The rooms were emaculate, the pool was perfect temperature, size and depth, the ocean front views are hard to beat. The manager Sean was very accommodating and Keith at the front desk helped us fix our reservation last minute. Breakfast was served by an amazing woman named Asli, made us feel right at home. Also a shout out to our bar tender Casey, what a good host.
Now, when we checked in I have never felt so ashamed of my status in life, and we are not in any way shape or form not well off in our life. The woman Jill was rude and joked about our short stay with another woman, there was an issue with the package I purchased and she would not accept that it was real even though I had it up on my phone. My husband felt we should have said something but I truly do not like being that person. We shook off this experience but it was a very memorable moment of the beginning of our trip.
Besides the quality of the bar food I. The evening, everything about this place is wonderful.

Stayed 2 nights. $581 supposedly at discount due to a class reunion. NOT a bargain. The room was nice but no couches or table with chairs in the room. When the room was serviced, they left no new Kuerig coffees cartridges. Starbucks downstairs was over $4 for a medium coffee. No continental breakfast. You must purchase breakfast at almost $18 dollars a person. They charge $20 dollars a day for valet parking besides the expensive room cost. Never used the valet except to arrive and leave. Paid $40 extra for that. Cocktails were roughly $11.00 for well vodka. Again, nice hotel but expensive for everything.

We used the Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront for a wedding reception and we will be back for the next wedding! Samantha was the perfect coordinator!
The hotel staff is so attentive: Luis, Nick, Jordan, Jordy, Denise, Sara, Julia and of course Miguel all worked overtime to keep us happy and on track! We had the rehearsal dinner, the reception, a hospitality suite, and a private breakfast buffet all here and each aspect was handled with loving care all weekend.
The food was spectacular! Let me just brag on the chef for a moment...the food tasting was sublime. For thr reception we ended up picking 2 fish and one beef dish....I know that sounds crazy but both the Wahoo and the Salmon were outstanding we could not choose. The food was a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. I could go on and on, but....
We also had wedding crashers! I mean, we did have a ROCKING party, but when they were caught grabbing our #321PopcornAndStuff favors, we notified the staff and they removed them and monitored everything more closely!
The rooms are spacious....Mom had one suite and the couple another, so between the two, hairdressers from #JustenBrooksHairStudio and makeup artists and all of the girls had plenty of room.
They have free shuttles to MLB airport, let guest arrive early or stay late as needed....
It was heart ❤️ bursting, exhilarating wedding weekend and thanks to the hotel staff we were in great hands!

Ed, Charlie, Sebastian and Martin made my long weekend feel like a week long vacation! ALL STAFF was exceptional from valet to housekeeping to the gentlemen that provided us with beach lounger rental. Longboards has great food for the price point, the bar service is excellent and live music performance was on the deck all weekend. If I hadn’t picked this hotel, I’m sure I would have wished I had!

About 40 staff stayed at the Melbourne Crowne Plaza Oceanfront and used a meeting room for 3 days for our annual staff retreat. The combination of the oceanfront location and attentive staff made this event a huge success. We recently stayed for 5 nights in a sea facing room. The hotel is in a fabulous location right on the beach. The hotel can feel a little dated in some areas but is spotlessly clean. The staff (and there are plenty of them) are all extremely helpful and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The happy hour in the Longboards bar on Monday to Thursday is very good value. We also visited at weekend and the food was excellent. We had read some negative reviews about the live music at weekend but we really enjoyed it. It is not intrusive and is finished by 9pm. The Anna Delgado band were great. Other positives are the fabulous sunrises which are worth getting up for and the free bus transport which will provide free trips within a 5 mile radius of the hotel (and pick you up later until 10.30pm). Breakfast on the terrace was very nice with some excellent choices on the menu. $40 for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for a day on the beach seemed a little steep but that seemed to be a set rate on this stretch of beach. A nice hotel in a fantastic location with great staff is recommended.

"Avoid rooms next to corner rooms, way too small. If you have a handicap parking placard or plate, you will be able to park for free. If not, it's $20.00 a day to park."
