We just got back from our time there on Oct 14-16, 2016. It reminded me of my days as a kid living in Sarasota. Great beach, beautiful landscaping, simple and old rashioned room #3, with very friendly and laid back staff in a quite, small town. Just what we needed to get away from the pace of Atlanta.

We've been coming to Mexico Beach and the Driftwood Inn for 10 years and it's never a disappointment. You enter your room on the street side and open to the beach side with beautiful plants and garden areas on both sides with porch swings, seating areas where you can take a book or take in the view, fountains and other...

My husband and I were there the weekend of September 24th. Quick trip for some peace and quiet. Much more subdued atmosphere than Panama City Beach. The grounds of the Inn are absolutely lovely with lots of butterfly friendly plants, wind chimes, etc. The view of The Gulf Of Mexico from out upstairs balcony was beautiful. Staff very friendly. Room...

We were driving to Saint George island and decided to get close, as our rental house would not be ready until the next day. We had our dog with us so were referred to the inn by another establishment. They had a 2 bedroom house available and as we were traveling with another couple....this was perfect. The house was open...

My daughter was married under the gazebo on the beach. It was raining and wind was blowing it everywhere . We made it through the ceremony and then took the reception Inside to the tea room there. The atmosphere and the quaint decor, the wonderful helpful staff, all made the day! The pictures were beautiful despite the bad weather and...

I've stayed here several times with friends. The cottages are our favorite. Beautiful tropical landscaping with lots of flowers, lots of covered outdoor seating & swings, birdhouses & feeders. Beautiful garden "rooms", whirligigs, fountains. The cottages are beautifully furnished with antique pieces mixed with modern, but bathrooms comfortable beds, full kitchens--all right on the beach. Delicious coffee served mornings in...

We stayed at Driftwood Inn August 1 - 3 in room 14. Although it was a short stay, we enjoyed our visit. Mexico Beach is a great location for a relaxing vacation, and Driftwood Inn is a great place to enjoy the beach. We have visited a number of years as family and enjoy coming back. The staff is very...

We stayed July 28-July 31 in cottage 25. This was our second yearly trip to the Driftwood Inn and we can't wait until next year to come back and stay in our favorite cottage (they remembered we specifically requested the same cottage we were in last year when we arrived this year). Both of our visits to the driftwood inn...

Wasn't really sure if this was a redneck dive because of great price, really happy we decided to give it a try. Had a cottage right on the beach, it was really small but clean. This is not a place for people who have to be entertained, the beach is almost deserted which is nice for boring folks like me...
