We choose this hotel because it was close to the airport and close to the shopping malls and honestly did not expect much but boy was I wrong.
We were a group of 7 with 4 rooms and we were all blown away by the way we were greeted by Farrah at the Front Desk. She made the check in process so seamless and was very friendly and accommodating.
The suites were so spacious and clean and we were expecting noise from the planes flying over but did not hear a thing once inside the hotel and our rooms. The beds were so so comfortable and the sheets and towels smelt very fresh.
There is a laundry on the second floor which came in very handy as we all flew in from Dubai and needed to do laundry.
There is lots of parking space and the pool area is a great hand out spot equipped with a bbq grill which we utilized on our final night.
We will be back soon!!!

Stayed here before our flight home. The person at the desk was very pleasant and accomidating letting us check in early and offering us a choice of rooms. The housekeeper greeted us with a warm smile when we were arriving to our room, something that does not happen very often. The hotel is very convenient to the airport, we easily got to the rental car center and there is a gas station at the entrance to the area that has the various hotels in this cluster. The only thing to consider is that the hotel is right in the landing flight path so you will have jets going directly over the hotel. We were on the second floor and did not hear the jets at all, wonder how the top floor rooms are insulated.

Bring your earplugs folks. There is a commercial lot behind this hotel that hosts a car show with blaring music. It’s currently 9:50 PM and the base is thumping like I’m in my personal night club. Don’t get me wrong….love me some music and definitely like the vibe. However, this appears to be a routine weekend event and you definitely need ear plugs and ambien to sleep at this property.
Secondly, bought some food to microwave and, well, said microwave is broke.
We normally visit Homewood suites and the owner of this property clearly doesn’t care.
I had a chat with the poor single employee at checkin who stated numerous guests had called in about the noise. It was out of her control. This employee was visibly upset and endured this blaring thumping for hours today.
Plus: room was clean and comfortable.
Negative: CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL
Wait…as I was about to end the review now there is a car doing burnouts.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel for the joyful event of our honeymoon October 16-18 and again October 21. We were there for a couple of days before our cruise and stayed again after. It was our very first time in Miami.From the moment we caught the shuttle from the airport to the moment we were dropped back off it was nothing short of exceptional. All of the staff we encountered regardless of their role were warm,service oriented and friendly. There was free breakfast available every day of our stay (Wed-Fri and again Mon) and also a social event complete with refreshments and light food Mon-Thurs in the evening. There are lovely restaurants within walking distance of the hotel as well as grub hub with free delivery courtesy of the hotel. On each stay we had a suite that was set up like a small apartment. Kitchenette complete with a small stovetop,microwave and full size fridge including cookware and dishes with utensils.There is a table with 2 chairs for eating or entertaining. A small living area with loveseat, ottoman on casters and flat screen TV. The bedroom also has a flat screen TV with a full bathroom. This hotel made us feel so at home we are already planning our next trip to Miami so we may once again stay at this lovely establishment. A special thanks to everyone who made our stay exceptional and welcoming.

The hotel was very safe, clean, spacious and comfortable. All staff members encountered were professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. A complimentary breakfast is provided offering hot & cold breakfast food (including waffles)and beverages. For those staying midweek an afternoon manager's reception is included. Ms. Lucrecia Magana was particularly helpful. For those needing transportation to the port there is a convenient shuttle service (for a separate fee) provided. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area and highly recommend this hotel. Note: the hotel is near the airport therefore there are frequent plane flyovers as would be the case for all the hotels in this vicinity; we did not find this bothersome but some sensitive individuals might.

We come over to watch the baseball games this was a convenient hotel nice rooms decent price now that they charge for parking you need to consider paying that in the price now. Disappointed that parking is not included. Who wants to play with these signs you have to scan and fiddle with your phone for 30 minutes figuring out how to pay. Then get your credit card out in the middle of a parking lot after traveling all day. We will rethink future trips here.

We booked this hotel for a group of six, only to find that the room we booked only had two beds and a pullout (extremely uncomfortable) couch. I thought I was booking the two bedroom with the king bed as well. My mistake I guess but this price was the same was the two bedroom with king at the Miami Airport Blue Lagoon, so I obviously overpaid. The Blue Lagoon location is much nicer in my opinion and in the past the staff was much more helpful. Upon arrival in Miami, I called the number that popped up with my reservation, only to find after 10 minutes on various holds that it was a national number and they couldnt help me find out about shuttle locations at MIA. I found the local number and called it, and was told to go to area door 23 and wait, the shuttle comes once an hour. We pulled all out luggage there (I am handicapped and using a cane, so more difficult but we managed), it was standing room only for quit a while, and we saw most hotel brand location shuttles come around at least two times, some came through six times while we waited, but not this hotels shuttle. We called and asked for it and where it was additional times and we waited in the heat for an hour and a half before we made the decision to walk (and drag all the luggage) over to the Upber Lyft area and called and paid for a ride Upon arrival, we found the large room suite we had reserved for our party of 6 was not the two bedroom we had thought, and was just a bedroom with two beds with a living area attached that had a small pull out, very uncomfortable couch bed. I called the front desk and was told the larger room was not available (it has a king bed in addition to the ones we had). I requested a cot bed for my 26 year old son, and was told he couldn't have one in our room due to codes. (but apparently sleeping on the floor is fine with fire codes) so I requested blankets and pillows for the floor and was given one thing cotton blanket and a pillow. I felt terrible for my son. We were on the fifth floor directly across from the elevator which clanged through all night and day. My big perk for being a "member" was a little wrinkled brown lunch bag with two water bottles in it. I used to love this Hotel, and I have stayed in the Blue Lagoon location multiple times without any issues (the Blue Lagoon location had the two bedroom with the king bed for the same price as we paid for my son to sleep on the floor)

By your review of what occurred, we fell short in providing a memorable stay to you and for that I apologize. Your feedback is very valuable to us, it allows us to correct mistakes and improve services. As you can see on previous reviews, customer service and quick staff resolution are often mentioned by our guests, and we want you to experience the same. I want to apologize for any long shuttle waits as our shuttles run every 30 minutes from 6AM to midnight and every hour from midnight to 6AM to try and accommodate all of our guests. In addition I want to apologize for any confusion regarding the different room types and rest assured that we would have been more than happy to upgrade you to a larger suite if there was one available. In regards to the rollaway beds, the information provided to you was correct in that we do not have rollaway beds at this property due to fire safety regulations. Please note in regards to your member benefit, you profile selection is the 2 complimentary water bottles per stay, please log into your Hilton Honors account to make any necessary preference changes. We hope to have a chance in the future to make up for this negative experience.

Great service at The Dining for breakfast and dinner. Dunia, Luis, Angel and the young lady are great! They always have the service line clean, great presentation, trays are refilled continuously, they have a happy attitude that make my breakfast or dinner an enjoyable time. My king room was clean and spacious, with bath and kitchen that were in working order. Breakfast buffet was limited but well maintained, with hot food as well as fruit and cereal.
Main drawback is service. Evening desk staff didn't seem customer oriented and I had to call 3 times for shuttle pick up from the airport. Be aware that the shuttle is for multiple hotels. Don't expect a shuttle labeled Homewood Suites - there are 4 hotel brands on it, incl Hilton Garden inn and Four points Sheraton. In my second call I was told they don't pick up at the zone where I was waiting, so I moved to another zone, only to have them also stop at the place where I was originally waiting. Maybe they assume all guests have previously stayed at their hotel.
Net: I suggest looking for other options with good service in addition to a decent facility.

Regarding the shuttle service, we operate shuttle vans that provide a complimentary transfer service to/from MIA. The shuttles serve only our three hotels that share the same complex: Hilton Garden Inn Miami Airport West, Homewood Suites Miami Airport West, and Four Points by Sheraton Miami Airport West. All the vehicles are clearly labeled with the logos of the three hotels. By law, we are required to do pick-ups where the MIA regulations allow us. That is, on the ground floor (Arrivals), in the hotel/shuttle lane, in bus zones 1-4, 7, 15, 21-23. Our Front Desk Agents assist guests all day and night to ensure our guests are in the correct location and coordinate your pick-up directly with the shuttle drivers. I regret you had a difficult time getting to us. I value your feedback and hope to improve on our services. I hope we have the chance to welcome you back again for a better experience.
