Hotel is great location. The hotel shares towers with the Indigo.
Hotel room was clean and spacious. They are building a building next to the tower so, you might hear some noise but nothing bad. Did not have the chance to see the pool or go to the bar at the top. Hopefully will come back. I do recommend have more staff for check in and check out since they take care for both hotels. Parking is $30 a day valet which is the only option given.

We went for just one night for a WBC game at Marlin Stadium. Took Uber was $23 ride. Restaurants and good night vibes are walking distance and also train.

You can see the style that IHG are trying to deliver with the Atwel brand. It's modern, it's chic, it's minimal and it's functional for today's business traveller who is not staying at high end hotels.

Check-in still needs some work, the focus is on the Indigo part of the hotel, although the Atwel does have a separate desk, it is hidden away around a corner, almost never attended and you're always unsure if she should use it or just use the Indigo desk.

I'm a Platinum Elite and whilst the Atwel was probably 25% occupied at best, I wasn't offered an upgrade. I could have pushed for one but decided to see how the room that was allocated was. It turned out it was fine, without a direct view of the ocean, but also on the opposite side to the adjacent rail/transit station. On the 22nd floor, you can clearly hear the station announcements ! :O and the coming/going of the transit. It didn't bother me (I normally sleep with plugs) but if I was on that side of the hotel and a lower floor, it may be an issue.

Service as a whole everywhere was very good, polite, professional and happy.

The Atwel lounge on the 24th floor is a part of the brand that works very well. Perfectly acceptable (would like a bit more fresh fruit) options for breakfast, all day access to water/soft drinks and coffee/tea, and has great work desks for use as an individual or in groups (as long as you're not there at the same time as the wanna be Miami rap video director who is giving a pitch over Zoom, and has NO VOLUME CONTROL).

My room did have one quirk, a sliding barn door access to the bathroom, that was less than 2 feet from the bed :O

The bed and pillows were EXCELLENT. The TV had a few operational issues, requiring me to plug and unplug the unit on a daily basis, when it would not respond to the remote.

The refrigerator and microwave worked well and were used.

Overall, I defintely stay here again (especially when I got a rate of 10,000 points per night) and would consider Atwel in other cities.

Overall this was a good stay for a pre-cruise night in Miami. I’d consider coming back if I’m in Miami again and only need one night. I don’t think I’d enjoy it for a longer stay.

Pros:
- Staff were all very friendly
- Location is great for doing some exploring. Lots of great food and shopping within walking distance.
- Breakfast is included and was actually pretty tasty. Loved that they had espresso machines and my latte was way better than I anticipated.
- We noted we were here for our anniversary and they left a nice treat for us when we arrived to our room. We totally didn’t expect that.
- The beds and linens were pretty comfortable
- Great view of the city from our balcony.

Cons:
- Our room had a really odd layout. The entrance doubled as the “living room” with a couch and TV. However, it was only about 7 feet wide so it was a little awkward. The bathroom also opened directly into the bed area which meant I you were definitely waking up your partner if you needed to go at night.
- The bathroom has a barn door. No bathroom should ever have a barn door. There is zero privacy so plan accordingly depending on who you’re traveling with.
- The rooms seem pretty beat up. I can’t tell if it’s all from use or poor materials and installation to begin with.

This hotel was amazing!! Besides it being brand new, everything about this hotel was astonishing. The decor was great, the food and drinks were fabulous and the room was very clean and comfortable. This hotel is connected w/ another allowing you to enjoy both restaurants. They had a happy hour w/ reasonable prices for both food and drinks. The staff was friendly especially Peter who took time to give my daughter and I recommendations on dining and shopping in the area. He was very helpful w/ getting us checked in and the process easy. I would highly recommend this hotel as this will now be my go to hotel for when I visit Miami. It is conveniently located near many restaurants, shops and movie theaters. I stayed on the top floor so I heard no noise, plus staying on the top floor allowed me say access to the free breakfast, which was also amazing.

Worst hotel of the IHG I have ever stayed. I booked a two bedroom suite. Only one shower for two rooms, one mini open closet. No elevator for the employees. If you stay on the suites, floors 22 to 24 you will be stopping minimum 5 times cause employees use rhe same elevator, for trash, or maintenance, or house keeping or something else. The keys work one day, then the other won't work. There is a front desk, but no body there. You have to ask some one else from the other hotel (indigo hotel) that is in the same building to go and help you. No phone call to reception, Noone there. Takes for ever to get your car at the valet, and they charge you for that service 30 dlls daily. The doors of the rooms are very small, not a regular hotel door. It seems like an apartment. There is never a manager to talk to. They only give you an email. ( never git back am answer for the complains) . The room I had 2306 you can sleep at all, because at 630 am daily there in water running every 5 minutes very loud. Like a restroom or something else. Never did something to help us with that. The coffee machine was dirty, as they have never clean it before. Disgusting. In general the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Won't recomend to anyone. There are much better hotels close to that one. Don't waist your money and time on that location. I have proof of every detail I had said.

Our stay at the new Atwell Suites to celebrate my mother's birthday was exceptional. The staff and manager went out of their way to accommodate us, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The two-bedroom suite was impeccably clean, comfortable, and spacious—perfect for our group of 5. The kitchen, two bathrooms, shower, bedrooms, and balcony added great practicality. The 24th floor, serving breakfast and, drinks offering a spacious, comfortable room and outdoor seating, was a delightful experience. The stunning infinity pool on the 6th floor, along with the well-equipped exercise room and cabana, made our stay even more enjoyable. We can't express enough gratitude for this positive experience. Thank you

When we first arrived at this hotel, we were very impressed with the hotel and the people that worked there. Friday night we had dinner in their restaurant. our decision was to sit inside although the garden looked beautiful. As we were eating, " I said to my family, is that a rat" and they all turned around and sure enough there was a rat outside under the table. The next problem was the safe which didn't work. I asked them to fix the safe and that was never taken care of and the second day they never came in to clean the room. The girl was still on the floor when we returned from the pool. I told her no one came to clean our room and she said, "I didn't clean your room". I said can I have 2 clean towels and don't bother. This was 3 Pm in the afternoon. When we checked out, I did tell the desk clerk what happened, she said she was sorry. A few days letter I get an email from management telling me how sorry they were hoped to see us again. I actually wrote back and thought we should be compensated for our service that we didn't get. Haven't heard back from them.

Save yourself the time and money, don’t go there!! Worst hotel ever, terrible staff , terrible service, checked us in a dirty room, complained about it over eight times no one came out to clean the room until my last day! There’s just so much to say about this hotel that is not pleasant but I will leave my review as it is. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, I had the worst experience ever, waste of money!!

Everything was fine until we got home and realized we had been charged for valet parking. We never used the valet. We only had a rental car for the afternoon and used the meter parking on the street. After over an hour on hold and a day later they said we would be refunded. The other charge to our room was for 2 drinks at the bar. We paid cash for the drinks. We still have not been able to get this corrected. When we can get through we are told they have to speak to the bartender.

The hotel is situated on a pretty miserable block, a short walk from the more pleasant Brickell City Centre.

On arrival, there was a long check in line. This was not helped by the Atwell Suites front desk being used for luggage storage while checkin was shared with the Indigo front desk. I arrived a little early and my room was not ready. I was asked to wait 15 minutes, which seemed reasonable. Unfortunately this repeated three times before I was finally given a key. If I'd known it was going to be such a long wait, I could have left my bag and done something useful with my afternoon.

Since this the the flagship hotel for the Atwell Suites brand, I was expecting a newly refurbished room. It it had been newly refurbished, it had been done on the cheap. The sliding balcony doors did not seal properly, so I could hear every word of every announcement from the train station opposite. One of the windows was covered with paper. There were random closets that contained nothing, not even a shelf. The bathroom faucet was loose. This is not what I expect from a reputable brand in a major US city.

I raised my concerns and I was promised points would be credited to my account. I am still waiting a month later. Maria Arias was handling this, and she has stopped replying to my emails.
