Having read some of the previous reviews, I think they must have stayed at a different hotel. Before we flew out, I contacted Best Westin about the airport shuttle but never got a meaningful answer from them. on arriving at the shuttle pick-up location, we asked two members of staff about the shuttles and were today that they came regularly. We saw numerous shuttles for other hotels, but none for Best westin and ended up having to take a taxi. On arrival at the hotel, check-in was quick. We went to our room and could smell cannabis in the corridor. The room is dark, very little lighting. Just 3 small lamps in a large room. Other than that, it's not too bad at all. There is no restaurant on site, so you have to out for your evening meal. That wasn't a problem. But breakfast the following morning. There are only plastic plates and cutlery. No bowls for breakfast ceral. These had to be eaten from paper cups. The coffee was like warm, and again, only paper cups. The fruit juice is so weak it only just coloured the water it's diluted with. Cooked breakfast consisted of sausage and egg. Nothing else. And then there's a selection of bread, cakes, yoghurts, and pancakes. Would I stay here again. Maybe. But I'd take a walk 10 mins down the road to Dennys for breakfast. …

Hotel's Favourite
The purpose of our visit was for a cruise out of the Miami cruise port. Our good experience started with a shuttle bus that came to us at the airport on demand within 15 minutes. The driver was pleasant and helpful and even pointed out places where we could eat along the way. Check-in was handled quickly and efficiently. We entered a room that had a comfortable temperature, with air conditioning working well and not loud. The room was a good size and comfortable. The only problem we had was with the remote control for the TV, which needed new batteries. They came quickly and fixed that for us. I feel this place deserves five stars because of its pool, shuttle, and hot breakfast. Some places are leaving their pool closed “because of Covid.” The shuttle takes you to and from the airport on demand, not by a schedule as some hotels do. Breakfast has plenty of offerings, including hot eggs, sausage links, and sausage patties. They have cereals and fruit, too. The muffins were large. The only thing missing among the amenities was a hot tub, which we would have liked. We were quite happy with this hotel for one night and will return at the end of our stay in Florida before we fly home.…

airport shuttle was prompt and driver very helpful and courtesy. breakfast selection was very nice lots of options area very clean and food well presented. hotel was clean and staff very friendly. would stay here again.

Staff was great! Clean rooms, Good breakfast and quick shuttle to airport. Had to leave before breakfast began to the airport so staff made us a to go breakfast bag to take with us. Perfect place to stay if flying out of Miami

We will gladly choose this location again, as it had everything we expected and then some! The rooms (we had two) were clean and comfortable. The amenities were plentiful. Most important, the staff was amazing!

We recently stayed here prior and post going on a cruise. This is our third stay over the course of eight years. Although the hotel is starting to show it's age, it's still great due to location to the airport, port and the staff are so welcoming and helpful. A shuttle to and from the airport is included although it ends a midnight. Breakfast is included which is very good - hot items and varied. I didn't realize they can offer a shuttle to the port via a third party for $12 pp. Just found this out from another couple who we met when we arrived for our post cruise stay. It's just a five minute walk to three gas stations where you can pick up wine, sandwiches, snacks etc. so a good location. We also found the hotel very quiet and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here one night. Couldn’t initially get access as the door was locked (9.30pm) after a delayed flight. Huge room. Needs an update. Air con good. Bed comfortable enough. Sheets spotless. Iron and iron board in room. Just a little bland. Imagine what some bright colours could do here… Staff nice and friendly though.

Check-in and check-out were efficient and the staff were friendly. The complimentary breakfast was great and had all of the items to make for a good meal (hot and cold). The ladies serving the food from the kitchen were also quite friendly. Common areas were very clean and appeared well maintained. A/C in our room worked well. The one negative was that our room smelled a little damp. It was very clean, but it had a slight odor to it. It may just be that I am not used to the humidity of Florida.

We stayed here a night returning from our Dominica trip. The rooms are very spacious and beds super comfortable. There are a few restaurants walking distance from the hotel and a small store that offers ready made healthy meals, beer, and wine.

This hotel has a nice lobby. The rooms are very spacious and were very clean. They have coffee makers in the room with plenty of coffee and condiments. They also have a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport, which is super convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.
